Great food enjoyed the pasteles
We did not have to wait long to he seated. Our waitress was outstanding from beginning to the end. We build our meal by ordering the Pollo Guisado from the A La Carte Entree meal. It consisted of stew chicken (dark meat), two sides; Arroz Con Gandules ( Puerto Rican rice- yellow rice with pigeon peas and tostones). The sides are priced individually. Along with two fountain drinks. The meal was outstanding. This is a must visit when in Las Vegas.
With disappointment I make this review this place USED to be the best!!! Now it’s stale food the alcapurrias don’t taste right too much sofrito the bacalaito was soggy no taste tasted like they threw it in there no nothing, the pork was burnt that trifongo tasted like pure garlic that’s now that’s suppose to taste they just threw some lettuce and a tomatoe what restaurant serves you like this ? coming from a Puerto Rican this saddens me now this place has no freshness and that is really sad I spend over 50$ And I couldn’t eat anything and they forgot my sides. U hope the OWNERS handle this situation before they get a good violation!
I spent $40.00 on their food, I get home and when I open the boxes this is what I see. The food was dry and the serving amount was not enough for the price they charged me, plus they took more thank 30min to serve the food to go. I can imagine if had been dinning at the restaurant, the food would have taken longer than 30min to serve us. The restaurant wasn't full and only had a few tables with customers. We're not going back....hope they learn from this review by making some changes to their serving amount. But not everything was bad, the server was great ??
This is the best Puerto Rican restaurant I have been to outside of PR. Simply delicious. The pernil was incredibly well seasoned, the mofongo had amazing texture and taste. The carne frita and arroz con gandules were delicious as well. Outstanding flavor and amazing service, our server Angel was phenomenal. Would definitely recommend. This place was so good we went two nights in a row during our stay in Vegas.
