First time eating at Slater’s. The restaurant is clean and has a good ambiance. They have a wide variety of drinks, appetizers, burgers, and desserts. Our waiter was pleasant and attentive. We had burgers which were tasty but overpriced!
We’re big fans of the other skaters location and wanted to try this one out. Was not disappointed! Great beer selection amongst the amazing burger menu. Staff were super helpful and quick to bring drinks while we waited for the rest of our party. We will definitely be back!
There was a lot to love here. Huge selection of beer, enough TVs for a variety of sporting events but not so many as to be overwhelming, solid entrees, good desserts…but what set it apart for us was the delightful service (apologized for staffing shortages multiple times…we didn’t even notice the difference) and those amazing appetizers.
Right when when you walk in you know this is the place to be! We were greeted right away with a very friendly hello. I did make make reservations which was real simple to do online. We were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary!! Service was superb. Our server was Madi, she was very friendly and didn't miss a beat.We had the Bacon Mac and Chees Balls which came in the very cute tin can! They were delicious and had the perfect crunch. My husband had the Bacon Chili Crunch Burger, which has a layer of potato chips and it was huge. The burgers come in a single, double or a triple!!!!! My husband had a single and still had to use two hands! I had the Sweet Potato Fries with the pumpkin sauce. That is a MUST. We shared a Strawberry Deluxe Cheesecake Milkshake that come with a slice of cheesecake on top of it!You won't be disappointed.
Based on my experience, this place is overrated. As soon as I walked in I knew we wouldn’t be there long. The atmosphere was not upbeat and the waiters looked bored. Regarding the food & drinks, My boyfriend had the beer flight. The flights were basically shot glasses. I had the spicy pineapple margarita which was probably 4oz tops. We ordered the chips & dip appetizer. Huge mistake. The chips were straight out of a bag, the salsa had no flavor and tasted days old, the guacamole was terrible and not fresh at all. The green chile queso was just cheese wiz with a couple jalapeño slices on top. We ordered nothing else after that.
First time at this location. We had the Vampire Jalapeno Poppers. They were so good. I would recommend these. However, we also ordered the Backyard Classic, Best Damn Bacon Cheeseburger, and Farmhouse Party. The angus patties were gross. They had a gamy taste. I was not sure what it was so I tore my burger apart. It tasted like meat gone bad with seasoning. I would not recommend the angus patties. Will not be going back.
We had such a great experience with Angie!! It was everyone in my party's first time there and it didn't disappoint!! The food was great but the service was the best part!! Our hostess was awesome and found us the perfect seat on the patio where it was quiet and we could celebrate my anniversary with my dearest friends. Angie kept checking on us and made sure we got everything we needed. Even the owner came and helped us pick out the perfect shake to top off the lovely evening!! We'll be back but if you go there soon, ask for ANGIE!!
If I could I would give this place a 0. Our waitress was very inattentive. Starters; the fried pickles were so chewy and flavorless, the. The chips and “green chili” queso had no flavor and tasted out of a jar. The waitress even said it was the same as the cheese fries even though the fries were supposed to be “beer cheese”. So supposed to be two different things but was exactly the same. 24K burger; the burger had NO flavor or seasoning very bland, the Farmhouse Burger had “coleslaw”. All the “coleslaw” was minced up cabbage!!! So very, very disappointed. Over $100 on horrible service and the blandest food.
Not happy! Went for wife’s birthday ordered the Whale Burger and two other regular burgers. Waitress and staff was nice but they really dropped the ball on this one. Forgot appetizer so it didn’t come until the middle of dinner, the dinner entrees came out staggered about 5-7 min apart so one person is eating while the others just watch. One burger came out wrong so it took another 10min to be redone. So final bill comes I go to pay spent another 10 min for the waitress to figure out how to charge my visa gift card-which she couldn’t do, so I paid by with another form of payment. I go to sign the bill and noticed that I got charged for two whale burgers even though I only order one so after some time they figured it out and refund me, but I get home and look at the bill one more time to find out I got twice again for another burger!
I’M A FAN!I had been to the original location on Silverado Ranch several times and love it so I had to try this one since a good friend of mine live right by it.We came and had some great app’s and we both had the 50 Alarm burger. The burger is super tasty and amazing but it’s only for those who can handle the heat. If you can’t handle the heat then I recommend the other regular burgers as they are great too. We tried the poppers too…previous reviews didn’t like them but I thought they were fine (by the way- what do expect from jalapeño poppers, this is a high end celebrity chef restaurant) lolAnyway- if your looking for some good food, great beer selection, good customer service and a cool ambiance then check this place out. There’s a lot of competition in this area but nothing quite like this.We will be back for sure…
