We've been about 3-4 times already and we only had one too goof of experience. Food was really good. Quick service too. We usually come here super late like around 2-3am so they're not super busy. The only thing I think I'm not a big fan of is how the tables are just on top of each other, so privacy is not really possible. All of the times we went here, place was kind of loud, or we could hear the next table with us like they were with us. But overall, I'd still give this place a 5 star since service and food are good ?. Yummy ? and highly recommend.
I went to Shokku while in Vegas for my honeymoon/ anniversary. Planned the trip for nearly 3 months and was so excited to try their food. When I got in and tried to order found out due to my mushroom allergy I couldn’t have about 95% of the menu. I was heartbroken to say the least. This is where they earned every single one of my 5 stars. My server was so kind and helpful in letting me know which foods I would be able to eat. She was amazing to work with. But my best moment was one of the chefs. He understood my allergy and went out of his way to create a ramen/curry hybrid that would not only work around my allergy, but was absolutely delicious. Pair that with the drowning gyoza and it made our lunch perfect. It has been a long time since I have seen staff go the extra mile to ensure a customer is happy, and they have earned my repeat business whenever I come back.
So … we stopped in about 4am or so …. And we were not disappointed! I had the surf and turf specialty bowl and it was just everything I hoped for and then some … I also had a Hikku (sp?) fried rice and the taco appetizer … the taco appetizer is amazing … the surf and turf seemed surprisingly complex with its seemingly simple concept yet both complete with both subtle and bold flavors and textures and just the right amount of heat … in short … it was amazing! And the fried rice is just out of this world… and yes …. It is open 24/7I will become a late night visitor for sure
Probably our new favorite Ramen Spot. It's an anime themed restaurant. Nice spot to get some good food and look at the decor. Service was extremely quick and the food was perfect. Highly recommend!!!
If you have a latex allergy beware. Staff uses latex gloves. I almost immediately had an allergic reaction I at first believed it may have been from the use of tomato. But our server asked the cooks and that was ruled out. It wasn't till I saw a staff member putting on the gloves that I saw the the box said latex. Food looked amazing I wasn't able to eat it due to my allergic reaction and we had to leave quickly due to it. But I did snap a photo of it before hand. The staff was very caring and kind and the restaurant is awesome. Just wish they would state the use of latex on their menu
Whenever someone tells you eat off the Las Vegas strip you better do it. Not only can you find an affordable alternative to dining but you can also find delicious good quality food. I searched this place on Yelp and I must say I was not disappointed. I ordered a small portion of chicken fried rice, but looked more like a big portion to feed an army ?.. Then for my main dish I ordered Chicken Ramen noodle soup ? let me just say that the soup was very delicious and with a rich flavor. I had ordered kinda mild on the spice side , but it still has some kick to it. Overall the whole experience was worth the drive from the hotel.
We came around lunch and had to wait 30 minutes to be seated due to labor and supply shortages. It took a while to get our orders in and they ran out many items on the menu, so we had to order other items instead. Once the ramen came, everything was all good. I really enjoyed the vegan ramen with all the veggies even though I didn't get to add chicken (was out at the time), but luckily they had one soy egg left.
Food was delicious! The atmosphere is fun and love the music
Came here with my out-of-town family and was told it was about a 45 minute wait. It seemed reasonable at the time and we waited inside the car because it was so cold outside. While we waited we kept seeing people coming out and be people being seated but everyone we checked our status with the hostess, our spot in line never changed. We waited a total of over 2 hrs and 45 mins when we finally got seated and the hostess response when confronted about people being seated in front of us was that they were a reservation. We were told after 2 hrs of waiting there was 1 reservation in front of us but they sat 4 more groups in front of us.After we sat down everything was great. The service, the ambiance, and even the food but every time we ordered we were told they were out of it. Half their menu they were out of. Not exactly a great sign or impression. When we got our food it was overall good but the premium Japanese pork is not worth it as it was all fat, no meat at all. The bill for our meal over all for 6 people and appetizers came out to over $160. Over all it was great but if you include the wait and issues with the hostess, it was not worth it.
Just wow!! We were really impressed by this little ramen shop, definitely some of the best I've had! It's been weeks since we visited and my boyfriend is still talking about how good the shrimp tempura was. The ramen was incredible, the pork was some of the most flavorful pork I'd has in recent memory. Hard to go wrong here, everything is great!
