Second time dining at red 8. Food is very good. Service is exceptional. It's our new go to at the Wynn with no reservation. Thanks
One of my fav Chinese restaurants in Las Vegas! Love watermelon cooler and braised beef brisket hor fun. The pricing is fair. Highly recommended.
Had a lovely dinner at Red 8. I would have given it 5 stars but the waiter wasn’t so great- wouldn’t even put my beer in the glass and it seems like the food has been more “Americanized” since my last time here 10 years ago. That being said the soft shell crab was delicious as were the dumplings and hot and sour soup!
Chinese restaurant seem and felt like not too fond of Asian patrons. Didn't like to be seated by kitchen walkway. Food flavor were average.
While I was excited to indulge in the vegan fare at the Wynn, I would give this restaurant a B-. The dazzling decor and ambience are deceiving for food that seems like it came out of a Olive Garden. Most of the dishes were pretty bland, although the eggplant (which they made vegan by swapping out the oyster sauce) was exceptional and a highlight for everybody. The only things keeping this out of the C range were the really warm and excellent service, and the fact that vegan food on the strip is hard to come by.
I wish to share the experience I had while eating at this restaurant at the Wynn Hotel. Over the past years I have enjoyed eating at Red 8 and have found their food to be excellent. Service also has been great. While eating my dinner I thought that I might have eaten something hard as I felt a little crunch in the teeth. I managed to remove a small piece of the food and was unsure if I had eaten a small bone so I asked if I could talk to the manager. Kevin arrived quickly to my table and I explained what had happened. I was not complaining, only curious to know if perhaps I had bitten down on a small bone. He quickly took the small piece back to the kitchen to talk to the chef. It might have been a small bone was the response. I was happy with the genuine concern showed by the manager. He was honest and he never showed anything but concern and respect.I was back eating at the restaurant the next night and Kevin came over to my table to say hello and asked if everything was fine. This shows that Red 8 is a quality restaurant and I would recommend this to anyone who loves Asian food.
Amazing. The food and service was fantastic. The green tea I make at home tastes nothing like this. The green tea here is phenomenal. The brisket noodle soup was delicious, flavorful, and very filling.
Great place to east, but way more expensive then it needs to be. Great experience!
Wow, some of the best Chinese in Las Vegas! The duck and pork are absolutely amazing. The congee with beef is just like being in Asia. The service was extremely professional. The price was a little expensive but it was worth the money due to the fact the food was just like being in China. The steamed Chicken feet were perfect and my wife could not get enough...truly authentic Chinese cuisine!
Our Party of Three were looking for a different dining experience for a late lunch/early dinner. With that said, we thought about the RED 8 Asian Restaurant and are very happy that we came upon the RED 8 location. The RED 8 is located very near the Wynn Las Vegas Casinos; and is a very pleasant and colorful facility. Our Server, Hui, was very good and attentive. The food was delicious, especially the Mongolian Beef and General Tsao Chicken; the Pad Thai Shrimp was generally okay. This was a welcomed dining experience.
