Robbery bad service, I can’t believe I’m saying this about this place. It was my favorite place to eat

As a tourist, I expected that this place would be busy during dinner time. We left our phone number for a seat and waited for over an hour to be seated. (the staff didn't call us. We checked if the seat was ready after an hour.) Then we were finally seated. We placed our order immediately after a servant greeted us. However, we waited for another hour without anything to be served. Not even water (which we asked for). I never really leave any bad comments on Google, but this one. Definitely terrible experience.

The food was amazing. We tried a variety of skewers. Each one of as spectacular! The service was very professional and prompt. The decor was very relaxing and the noise level was perfect!

Really enjoyed the food here, everything we got was amazing. We treated it much like you would tapas and got things for the table to try. Great service as well, definitely a different flavor than you would get anywhere else from the grill. Highly recommend.

Tried the deluxe omakase! Very pleased :) must try for anyone who loooves Japanese

It took me calling to reach a full voicemail periodically over three weeks to finally have someone pick up to take our reservation! Raku Sweets gave me the tip to call within two hours of their opening, but even then it took a few tries. The Facebook messenger read my message but never responded. Luckily a trusted friend had spoken of the restaurant so highly that I didn’t give up. We were able to secure an 8:30pm Saturday reservation for four and ended up seated in our own little room where we each ordered the $120 omakase. It was a very nice experience, with wonderful staff, beautiful ambiance, and all impeccably prepared dishes. The dinner was more meat heavy than expected, and while delicious our favourites were the incredible house made tofu and the sashimi platter. I’m told we should return in fall for ikura season.

Haven't been to Raku in awhile and they did not disappoint! We went there after attending a BTS concert so the restaurants in the area were very crowded including Raku. The best part is that they don't overcrowd the restaurant and so the ambience was still great for lovers and dates but also good for friends to get together. The food was spectacular - we had the wagyu, bluefin tuna, yellowtail, enoki mushroom and the baby Barracuda. They were very attentive to make sure that the food was delivered to your table one by one so you can savor each dish. And even though they were crowded, the staff did not rush you and let you enjoy your food and time. Better to call in ahead and reserve since they want you to enjoy your experience which leads to you staying longer so the wait time can be long if you try to walk in.

Exquisite place with incredible decor. The duck skewer, juicy fried chicken, and fluffy cheesecake were out of this world.

Nothing short of amazing. It's clear that each dish is made with care and attention to detail. Great chargrilled taste. Desserts also delicious. The pricing is very reasonable. Service was excellent (like in Japan). Love the Japanese toilet! We can't wait to come back and also try the other Raku restaurants.
