Great food! Tasted amazing and fresh. For a busy place, specially close to Fremont, they have great costumer service, they kept asking if we like the food or we need anything else, they have indoor and outdoor seats, love the decoration! One negative thing about this place is that their menu is online.Photo: 1-bread pudding, 2-shakshuka, 3-avocado toast.
We had breakfast here and it was fairly busy on a Saturday. We ordered one of their chocolate mocha‘s and a latte and we tried the blueberry scone and the bread pudding. Their coffees are very flavorful and they do a good job on presentation. Their pastries and breads are not very sweet which is perfect in combination with the coffees. The atmosphere and inside location is very well decorated and has a vintage library feel to it with a touch of modern Art. Many things are self serve such as water and your utensils which makes things easy because you don’t have to wait for the waiter.Just a little heads up, if you want your bread to be served you warm along with your coffee, make sure to let the staff know because the bread can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes before it gets to your table. Also, they only have two bathrooms and many people tend to use it because of the coffee, everyone has to go.Overall, our experience was pleasant. The staff were very understanding and professional. This is definitely a hidden gem in Las Vegas. So if you love coffee, they have a wide selection of different crafts and a wide selection of meals as well. As far as pricing, it is very affordable, just make sure you have some money for parking because the streets can be packed on the weekend.
Great refuge off the strip. Not in the best location, but once you're here it has great food and drink options. Good selection of vegan and gluten free pastries and food. I had a few interactions with the staff and they were all super friendly. The interior design is also cool with some indoor trees and nice wall murals.
We were on our way out of Vegas and looking for a unique, local place for breakfast. PublicUs did not disappoint! A cool local vibe with unique breakfast options. My hubby and I enjoyed the bento box breakfasts. I had the Mahalo and he had the Salmon. Loved the combo of flavors and the amount of food was certainly generous. We also had the macadamia nut lattes - great coffee, mild macadamia taste. Super friendly staff and even though it was super busy, the staff were very helpful and relaxed. We didn't feel rushed at all. Thanks for a great experience!
I am torn about this review because my meal was excellent, and for the most part the service was very good, but one member of our party waited an inordinate amount of time for his food, which was not a complicated selection; in fact, several other tables who arrived 15-20 minutes after we arrived got their food first. I was glad mine was a cold meal, so I could await his meal's arrival before eating mine. Be warned, this is a very busy restaurant for breakfast/lunch, and the line is never ending. I love gazpacho, so when I saw it on the menu, I had to order it, but it came with pineapple. I asked TWICE that it be served without pineapple and was told, again TWICE, that it could be. So, I was disappointed when the bowl came, and it was loaded with pineapple. I managed to spoon most of it out. Despite the lingering chunks I missed, the gazpacho was very, very good. To accompany the gazpacho, I ordered the smoked salmon toast. It was remarkable, with more salmon than I've ever had on similar toast. It was cut delicately thin, and the bread was toasted to perfection. It came with something called watermelon radish slices, which I've never had but which I will now seek out as it was a spectacular burst of flavor in a thin slice. Other members of our party said their meals were equally good, even the frenchie toast which arrived 20 minutes later than all the other meals at our table.
Holy cow this place slapped. The shakshuka was amazing, so much flavor but not overwhelming. The space is adorable, and the dinosaurs among the baked goods spoke to my heart. There’s street parking and we came on a Wednesday morning and it was not too busy. Highly recommend 10/10
Cute little place! Open windows, wood design, and dog friendly. We brought our pitty and they welcome dogs inside or outside. Their waffles are super light and perfect for Light eaters like myself ?
Not autism friendly. So I guess your welcome if you’re Hawaiian, but not so welcome if you have autism. Looking at my son, you wouldn’t think he has autism, but he starts stimming and it can be loud or attention getting when he flails his arms. I could tell he was bothering one of the women behind the counter. I was told to move to the other side. I wouldn’t think that everyone is educated with autism, but it’s around enough for them to be a bit understanding. The food was pretty good, but I could never return to how awful they made me feel when I was there. I was also criticized by I believe the owner’s daughter for traveling to Hawaii when I was vaccinated and very cautious of Covid. Horrible horrible experience!!! I thought this place would be accepting of all, but that is so far from the truth.
Very cute and cozy place to spend some quality time with your loved ones. We enjoyed the food. We were in Vegas trip and we tried this cafe. The macadamia coffee is OK though! My husband ordered the fried chicken, and I got the burrito. The portions are big, I couldn't finish my food. Highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch :)Also try the date cookies (see the pic)
The food was friggin bomb. I didn't expect such large portion sizes. It was worth every penny. And food came out very quickly. It's no surprise it was packed in there. My boyfriend ordered the fried chicken bento box in the photo and I got the biscuits and gravy. Both delicious. If you like green tea you will love this lemon lime green tea drink ? I will definitely go again to try more from the menu.
