Best since 2002? I remember going there in 1995 or 1996. Nothing has changed - it is still fantastic and it is still expensive and well worth it. You get what you pay for. This is a landmark and a Las Vegas institution.I would go there more often, but my total for a sandwich and fries was $19.49 or so. Then, I noticed the fried mushrooms which was over six dollars. The fries were soggy and greasy, but I hadn't had good fried mushrooms in forever. Usually, fried mushrooms are too hot to eat for about an hour. These were almost cool enough to eat and I ate them on the way home.I unwrapped my sandwich in the car to taste it, and scalded my mouth. Except for the greasy fries, these are pros. The grease was fresh, so that makes it even better. At home, sprinkled a tiny bit of salt on the meat. I think traditionally, no seasoning is used in the preparation. In my defense, I loaded a U-haul trailer and my truck, drove three hours, unloaded the truck, drove back to Las Vegas and dropped off the trailer before ordering. I was very hungry. It is a week later and I am craving another sandwich at 5:00 am on Sunday. It is a good thing they are open 24 hours. Eat there, it is worth the money.

Great late night Philly cheesesteak fix while I’m working in Vegas. I’ve only been late at night. Lol The cheesesteaks (wit, whiz, and mushrooms) are tasty, filling, and huge. It’s not diet food for sure. Service is fast as well. One time they were cash only, but typically they accept card. Thanks!

It was totally worth the wait to come here. Been in town 6 years, and I finally checked out the hype. Well, it lived up to it. Super bomb!

In A Nutshell:-POPS (Pride of Philly) automatically cements this cheesesteak spot as 100% legit.-Its open 24/7 which is cool like a oasis in the desert for those late nights or early mornings in Vegas.-Its a walk up & order setup w/ some tables & chairs if you wanna eat here.-The cheesesteaks are filled with delicious cheese (they have 3 choices) & hot thinly sliced steak w/ your topping of choice.-Grab an order of fried okra too while you're at it, they are hella good!Overall, I've eaten the cheesesteaks from POPS a couple times & I really am happy I found this gem!

420am stressing/ my order smells hearty and got to me super quick. BIG UPS! No pic cause I tore it up. Next visit I plan on extra cheese. Nice choice on the beef quality POPs! When I find worthy acquaintances I will send your way for sure! 24/7! Woooooooo!

I wish I could rate this place higher due to the friendly staff, but I try to be honest. The meat on the philly cheesesteak was rather tough and too thick for my taste. Take this review with a grain of salt because you might like thick cuts of meat on your philly. If you do, this might be a place for you to check out.

Good place to stop and eat when you are on the move and hungry, fast and you can eat right there outside there are tables with bar stools gives an old school vibe, the entire building itself makes the statement, tasty sloppy hoagie wrapped in deli paper, can't get any better than that on a sunny day.

Wow! Not only are their philly's amazing and filling, their sweet potato fries, and fried green beans were so good! Def will try their chili cheese cheesesteak next time!

I tried POP'S for the first time for lunch. I ordered cheese wiz add onions. Price about $12 . The lady took my order was nice and quick but soft spoken so hard to hear her response when placing order. It was good but I had to scrap off some cheese and I love cheese.. ?Next time, I am going to try just Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms.

Their Philly is freaking delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed lunch. The staff was really nice and after today's lunch I'll definitely be back.
