Good Service, Average FoodReview for Pegs Glorified Ham n Eggs, 9905 S Eastern Ave #100, Las Vegas, NV 89183, about 11am on Saturday, May 21, 2022. This little restaurant is tucked away in the Sunset Station parking lot toward the west end near the street. Open only for breakfast and lunch. Sorry, but only 3 (three) stars, two for the food, and an extra star for the good service. It was a little busy when we went in, but the service was very good, and we were seated and had our drinks within minutes. It’s a small restaurant, seats maybe 100+ people in booths and tables. Kudos for full silverware and condiments on the table, even individually wrapped butters. The kitchen is in full view, but a bit hard to see from our table. There was also a small outside seating area with umbrella partially shaded tables for 2-4 people. My son ordered the Enchilada Omelette, house-made spicy chicken w/ crispy tortilla strips & jack, topped w/ ranchero sauce, sour cream & smashed avocado. I ordered a favorite of mine, a BLT sandwich bacon with lettuce and mayo on toasted sour dough with a side of fries and ranch dip. Plus, a Pepsi and coffee to drink. The coffee was a fresh, medium roast, little bitter, no hazelnut. The soda had an average amount of syrup.Service was good but the food was mediocre. It had the taste of small casino café food. Just bland to poor in taste. My son’s Enchilada Omelette plate was a nice presentation of poor food, huge and pretty, but had the taste of canned sauce. The beans were good, and the chicken was okay, then the slaw was just awful. Anyone can make good slaw. This slaw tasted like straight weakened vinegar with some gawd-awful spice. My fries were good, crunchy on the outside, but the ranch dip was very runny, ehh, wouldn’t even stick to the fries! The bread on the BLT was barely warmed instead of toasted, and very heavy on the lettuce. I mean there was enough lettuce to make the sandwich twice it’s regular size, with a tiny layer of bacon, and mayo smeared in the middle but dry around the edges. The bacon was cooked so hard I could not bite through part of it and it pulled the sandwich apart with each bite. I didn’t eat hardly any of it and tried to fill up a bit on fries before we left. My son didn’t want to take home the rest of his either, which is rare. The food was overpriced for mediocre! So the service receives 5 (five) stars, but the food gets only 2 stars. Great service without the good food is a bad combination. We won’t be back.

Haven't been here in a hot minute. The kiddo wanted breakfast at a place she hadn't been before. She got Stuffed French Toast which she absolutely demolished and I got Chorizo Benedict. Chipotle sauce was awesome and had just enough kick to keep me reaching for my water. Great balance of heat and flavor. I definitely need to come here more often.

This place is ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! We sat at the counter and watched food be prepped next to chemicals and a hand wash sink. Dirty dishes piled up next to the bread. The waffle iron hasn’t been cleaned in decades with caked on nasty crust all over it. No one in the back (chef) changed their gloves in the hour we were there. One server had a glove on and used a bucket with a towel in it to wash her gloved hand off and then touched food plates. Condiments like ranch, the stuffing for the French toast and butter were all left out to sit. People touched their gloved hands with their ungloved ones cross contaminating. The vents and wires were covered in greasy dust. The floors were disgusting. There were flies near the expidite area. It was just nasty as all get out. Will NEVER return.

Food was terrible. Never going back, employees seem to hate there job, worst experience iv ever had, Manager yelling at customers.

Wanted to have a great breakfast so we found Peg's Glorified Ham and Eggs, which was one of the few breakfast places that opened at 6:30. We were welcomed when we walked in and were able to seat ourselves. Ellanay served us and she is fantastic. She has a great cheerful spirit and was great to visit with us. She provided some recommendations and I went with the Hawaiian breakfast.I am a big fan of Hawaiian Blue Plate lunches. If you are the same then you are going to love this breakfast. It has rice, spam, and Portuguese sausage all topped with an egg of your choice. But wait, there is more. What would a Hawaiian meal be without mac salad? Yes, this breakfast comes with a serving of mac salad that was very traditional flavors.Mix all of these items into each bite and you are in for a treat. I would definitely come back to Peg's and try some of their other breakfast options. There is a lot on the menu including other Hawaiian-style breakfasts, a great selection of creative benedicts, skillets, and much more.If you are lucky enough to have Ellanay as your server you will have an amazing time.

I had the Gravy and Biscuits which was ok. The biscuits were plain as well as the gravy. My mother had an omelet and hashbrowns with an English muffin. She said it was ok but felt it was missing something in the omelet. The portions were big and definitely filling. The bill came to $38 for two people which honestly for breakfast was a bit high. I had a Hot Chocolate which was 4.99, I believe that is pricey. I know prices are going up do to inflation but this was to much in my opinion. The staff was very friendly and service was quick!

First time here and it was amazing!! They were busy but very efficient promptly polite professional service!! They were out of Orange juice but still I’m super satisfied with the food and service I received! Highly recommend this delicious place

Customer service was lacking there. 4 servers and no one asked to refill my drink. Check was given when it wasn't asked for, then asked if I wanted anything else like ya already gave me my check why asked. Other customers were check on multiple times except me and let's not go there not trying to pull a race card. My server was super. Seems she is the life of that store. She checked on customers that wasn't even hers. The other two older one's need to see customers as a pay check for them do to they only serve well there ..... the young server has potential, because of the other two and there attention to details and customer service majorities rule.... 2 stars ? ..not going back.

Had a Denver omelette 3/15/2022. My first time here. Food was good, thought prices were a little high but portions were large to make up for it. Asked for salsa, was told it would be an additional charge. Service was okay, they were nervous because the health inspector was there. I'm sure I will return at some point.
