The owner came out a greeted us and welcomed us into her restaurant. Very accommodating. The food is cooked to order. Very fresh fish for the poke bowls. Everything was super flavorful and cooked perfectly

Yoooooo this place is like a hidden gem. I have been around the country and well I have been to some shady looking places and this ranks with one of those. But as they say "You can't judge a book by it's cover". I went in and was pleasantly surprised. I actually felt transported to Hawaii. The atmosphere was very chill. The music was cool and the art work was DOPE, BUT I CAME FOR THE POKE.Spicy Mayo is what I got and Shoyu. I gota salad with shrimp, a half pound of the Spicy Mayo Poke and then the Shoyu poke in the bowl. When I tell you it was THEEEEE MOST TENDER AND JUICY POKE ?. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Everything was on point from the poke to the seasoning to the rice. Will be returning for more. Might even have a party there because it's all set up for one. (of course you are invited, the more the merrier)The people greet you with an Aloha as you enter and a Thanks for coming when you leave. ?? The owner even comes around and checks on everyone. That a nice touch. Also there is a coffee shop inside with Kona Coffee. And pastries. And Boba, and Teas, I had to resist but it's on the list for a cheat day. ?

I discovered this place on a recent trip back home to the "9th Island." I cannot begin to rave enough about the quality of the food and the aloha spirit of the staff. As soon as you walk in the restaurant, it feels as if you've been teleported to a mom and pop shop in Hawaii. Once I sat down, I noticed that everyone inside was Hawaiian. To me, this is a VERY good sign, and speaks to the quality of the dishes. I ordered a char siu manapua and spam musubi to start and the eggs, spam, and corned beef hash breakfast plate, which comes with rice. I ordered a side of mac salad as well. As I waited for my food, I chilled to the Hawaiian reggae jams of Maoli and Common Kings the restaurant was playing. As soon as the food arrived, I was not disappointed. The portions were huge! Everything was perfect! Truly ono, and broke da mouf. After we finished, the owner took time to come to our table to make sure everything was good. Also, we got to talk story with the owner's grandson who brought our food over. It's all of these small details that make Pacific Island Taste your destination for Aloha.

Hidden gem. Located a short 10-15 walk from the Westgate, very much off the strip, in a bit run down area. But it was one of our best meals in Vegas. We went for a late breakfast our first visit and returned a couple days later for lunch. The Poke was so good. Also, the fried rice, too. Unfortunately we were so hungry, I did not take a photo. The wait is a bit long, but worth the wait.

I got the island bento which had two types of chicken, pork hash, rice, and a hot dog. All of it was very delicious. The people that work there were very nice and we're excellent hosts. I come to Vegas every year for a conference so I pick my restaurants very carefully and I will definitely be back to this one. It's a nice casual atmosphere which I appreciate.

Family run place and people are super friendly. Food is so good that they occasionally run out of certain dishes. Their pork hash is basically large shu mai. Their fried saimen has barbecue pork instead of spam. Their macaroni salad is awesome - and I usually don’t eat macaroni salad. I finished this one. Also had a long John. Not too sweet but huge. Much more than I could eat. Only downside of the place is the location. Not in the best part of town.

Wow such good food. Got the katsu loco moco, long John silver, poke bowl and at Kona coffee, which is inside and next to the restaurant, a Kona coffee, Mochi butter. Both were SO good. Happy to support small business and they love what they make. Worth a visit for sure, the plaza area isn’t fancy, but the food will speak for itself.

It’s like going back to the Big Island and getting the quality grinds I’ve been missing. I love this place and will be back as soon as I can! It’s so nice to come to a dedicated restaurant like this on a Sunday and meet the owner, if you are reading this, YOU ROCK!!

Just moved to Vegas and being originally from Hawaii I was craving some local food. We have been to this restaurant before and I just can’t get enough. Auntie and her crew are always so helpful and the food is amazing. Last time we were there they didn’t have picked mango, so that was a must. Ordered the huge pork hash, oxtail soup and loco moco and the portions are huge and flavorful. This will be one of our go to spots when in the mood for Hawaiian food!! Mahalo PIT ??

First off, music was on point! Food was fresh, made to order, and tasted just right! Portions were enough to fill this Phat Boi! Off the Strip, great Find!
