I have been to orchids garden many times before only for dinner and the food has always been excellent. This is the first time I've been there for lunch and I had dim sum. I must say that I was very impressed. It was much better than I thought it would be because this is the first time I've ever had dim sum. I will definitely be going there more often for lunch now.
First time here for dinner tonight. We were very disappointed in the food. No flavor or seasoning. I ordered shrimp with lobster sauce combination dinner. This was not an entree it was a bowl of soup with shrimp and a ton of sliced onions. I've had this dinner at several other restaurants in the past and never was served as a bowl of soup! Husband had the cashew chicken again no flavor and the cashews were burnt. Chicken seemed boiled. The egg rolls were the only item with flavor. I dont like to give reviews like this but we won't be back.
Very good and very fast..As soon as you sit the carts come a running. You can just order Ala carte dim sum, or order off the menu, or both. Food was great and the bill was not as much as you think feeding a family of 4, especially for the price of other restaurants in Vegas. We were stuffed in less than 30 minutes of entering the restaurant.
Photos are taken around 10:45, and this is how much tables were available on SUNDAY. They do not take RSVP, that’s the minus one star.Taste good, I liked the authentic way of serving style. It’s always 3 pieces, so you better go with 3 people or 6…. I arrived 10:15, there were already line and maybe 3-4 groups were ahead of us. But I’m sure you can come by 10:40 and can have table. After 11:00, there were obviously people waiting. Would I go back? Yes.
Fast service. Place was packed on Wednesday for lunch. Busy atmosphere. Order from carts across language barrier. Everything was delicious. 10/10 just don't look at the carpet keep your eyes on the dim sum.
Went here during lunch disappointed. There was a large selection of food available including things like tripe, sticky rice and usual things like chicken feet, gyozo etc. Staff circulated carts fairly quickly. Still our seating was on far side of room so some things were out before they arrived at our table, which is why i did not give them 5 stars. Staff was attentive and cleaned tables quickly and made routine checks for drinks etc. A positive experience from our perspective
So much food! I loved being able to try small bites of so many new things. The ladies pushing the food carts didn't really explain what things were and there were no signs so if you have allergies probably not the best idea but if you don't and you like dumplings, buns, and cool looking appetizers I recommend checking them out. We had a friend with us who was familiar with some of the dim sum offerings but there was so much variety thay even she got to try new delicious things. If there were labels explaining the dishes I'd give 5 stars
This is probably the best value in Vegas. No frills here and well off the strip but worth it on a Sunday morning!
Not exactly what we expected. Dim sum is only average at best. Not the #1 it was rated. Lots of msg in food. I would definitely try else where. Bathrooms are in need of some deep cleaning.
One of the top 3 Dim sum places I’ve been to.Pineapple bun was great; warm and flaky. Crab cake was a bit expensive, but tasty; 2 for $10
