This was such a great little shop! My mom and I wanted to try some new stuff off the strip and saw this while walking the plaza. Usually she's hesitant with trying new places, she's a picky person, but she loved these doughnuts! We each also bought a drink, she had the peach passion tea, and I had the watermelon fruit tea. The cups make a fun souvenir as well as they are a hard plastic with the shops logo!
In Virginia, I have to go to three different stores for mochi donuts, Korean corn dogs, and boba drinks. Mochinut have them all, and they are great! Yum! ?? As usual, there was a wait with the corn dogs, but they don’t dress them the way they do it in Virginia with all the drizzles that’s supposed to complement each corn dogs. I guess you decide what you like. Still good, and their donuts are better. ????
We mostly eat the original, churro and oreo ones...Call beforehand to make sure you are getting the freshest batch... usually the best around opening time.
The mochi donuts are super chewy and not overly sweet. I loved how chewy the donut was. They had limited flavors but the churro, matcha, and Oreo were good. My favorite was the Oreo. Worth visiting if you have never tried a mochi donuts before.
A cool place to try the rice hot dog. The gamsung potato one was pretty tasty. The outside had nice crispy pieces that reminded me of french fries. Overall, pretty good to check out.
3.5 out of 5. The store is spacious but there are no tables to eat. We ordered the Gamsung Potato dog and 3 donuts. They didn't have many donut flavors to choose from. A bit disappointing on the limited choices but the donuts are delicious. The Gamsung Potato dog was okay. If you love fries and corn dog on a stick, youll like it. Overall, a good place to eat at but driving here, you may miss the entry to the parking lot. So, pay attention when driving to it because the parking lot is shared with several other businesses and the parking lot is small.
6 donut for $15 or $30 for 12 is just insane. Why rip people off that much. The donuts are ok I don't get the hype. Lesson learned. Never again. Plus service isn't that friendly
Stopped in to see what they had. Clean and open area. Not for dine in really. Ordered cheese foam strawberry yogurt drink & 3 donuts to go for the next morning. Friendly staff and quick service (only 2 other customers besides me). Price is what it is, like everything these days. Donuts are nice chewy texture and had good flavor-in order of best taste-churro -tiramisu- milk tea. Drink was different, not as much strawberry flavor as I expected, but good. Boba in it was not as good (soft) as other places, but it was a cold drink vs warm tea.
First time in Vegas and I love asking the workers what their favorite drinks are when I visit a new tea place. The workers recommendation did NOT disappoint!! I got the peach and watermelon tea with tapioca and it had actual pieces of watermelon in it. It was so wonderful and the staff was super friendly and nice. I will definitely be coming back when I back in Vegas!!
Atmosphere: for a big place, it has very little to limited seating- though this might be due to Covid-19. The bathrooms are nice though.Cost: it is expensive for having just snack food. Also, tbh, they only have pork hot dogs and you put your own dressing on so it shouldn’t be that expensive or asking for tips in the first place. What I ordered: All mozzarella corn dog with sugar. The sauce I placed on myself were yellow mustard, sweet chili, and something garlic. They also didn’t have any visual guidance to help with your picking of the sauces. I also got the mango and cheesecake mochi donut.Taste: mochi donuts were okay, it was good chewy-ness but it wasn’t an out of this world experience. They were also colder than I expected them to be so take that into consideration if you want. The corn dog was just okay as well, not bad but not spectacular.Would I come here again: No. Cruncheese is literally across the street with fresher corn dogs and I’m pretty sure with cheaper price too. Also, you don’t have to figure out the sauce on your own there. I would say that it is nice to have a place with mochi donuts, k-corndog, and drinks all in one. Though, the plaza Cruncheese is in has boba that’s like 5 doors down so take that as you may.
