I ordered the Brisket, Pork Ribs and Pastrami Beef Rib to go. I was staying at the Palms so I ate it just 10 minutes after it was given to me. They were pretty quick and had my food in 15 minutes. The pastrami Beef ribs were delicious but not worth $52. A lot of places in Vegas have the same thing for half the price. The brisket was on point. The pork ribs had a weird vinegar aftertaste. The corn bread was flavorless, they should just give you white bread. I liked the pickles they are sweet. The food was okay but overpriced. They gave me generic bbq, mustard and vinegar. Good bbq needs a wider selection of sauces. 3 Stars, average food and overpriced.
Nachos amazing!!! We ordered pulled pork nachos and brisket nachos and it was amazing! The flavor was great ?. I would say price wise would be $$. We had a few drinks and different appetizers. In my opinion this is one of the best nachos I ever had. Chicken wings was good too but serving was kinda small.
I am not much of a barbeque fan but my smoked turkey was delicious! And service for our table of 12 was wonderful! Thank you for a fun evening!
My first ever visit to Vegas and patronizing Michael Symon's Mabel's BBQ was definitely on the list! Food was mostly good except for the "bacon cheddar corn bread" which, no matter how it was dissected bore no evidence of either bacon or cheddar. Our server, Becca, let's us trade it in for cucumber salad. Plating was off-puttingly downmarket. Why is everything crammed into paper cups?
Wife and I were on a whirlwind trip and decided to chill a night in Vegas. Mabel's was located in our hotel and boy did we luck out! The we ordered brisket, creamy cheese shells, and my favorite the pork belly burnt ends. If you love meat these are succulent, crispy, and sweet with a touch of heat. Also of note some of the best pickles I have ever eaten. My wife noticed how much I loved them. These are no normal pickle!!!
The wife and I had a great meal of pulled pork and brisket. Service was fast and friendly. The bourbon selection is top notch,I asked for a very specific drink and the bartender delivered above and beyond. So much so the manager complimented me with my bourbon selection in the drink. The drink in English was the bourbon boulevard. My advice is eat here, don't wait in line for an hour for the buffet only to be told to come back in three and a half hours later to be seated. You won't be disappointed.
I loved this place.I'm traveling for work and one of my coworkers suggested we try this restaurant. It's owned by Chef Michael Symon, so why not give it a try.We had wings to get started and selected the dry rub. The wings were crispy, and had amazing flavor. I could have just eaten wings and been happy. The main course was the Overtime. This included a rack of ribs, pulled pork, smoked turkey breast, chopped brisket, and three sides.Let's start with the ribs. The meat fell off the bone, the flavor was smokey and the bark was incredibly seasoned. 10 out of 10!The turkey breast was juicy and with a little of the green chili BBQ sauce, it was a definite 10 out 10!The chopped brisket was good! Not my all time favorite but good. The flavor was there but it seemed a tiny bit off. Still, 8 out of 10! Solid showing. Now let's talk about the pulled pork. I love pulled pork. It's one of those meat dishes I just can't get enough of. The pulled pork was juicy, tender, and tasted amazing. I added the spicy BBQ sauce and it kicked it up a notch! 10 out of 10!Let's not forget the cornbread! Only twice in my life did I say "that cornbread is delicious" and tonight was one of those nights! Great texture, fluff, and heartiness. Add the butter on it and you'll enjoy some of the best cornbread out there.Side bar... I was taking pictures of the place and a gentleman whose name I missed, asked if we wanted to see the smokers. Well hell yeah! Who wouldn't. He took us behind a door and said, let me show you this first. It was a small but beautiful bar in a back room. Think speak easy. Awesome! Then up the elevator to the smokers. Three gigantic beautiful wood smokers. They didn't skimp here either. They use real wood from fruit trees, none of this wood pellet stuff. Explains the goodness in the food.All-in-all a great meal, great staff, and wonderful time.
Came to The Palms for my Bday weekend Heard great things about Mabels Food, never had BBQ so good. Service was 1st class. Went last night, server was amazing in recommendations. Tonight, Becca did the same. Exceptional recommendations, service and food. We will be coming back when in Vegas.
After watching a YouTube video on Mabel’s we had to visit. Guinness on tap was a great start. We sat at the bar and were so well looked after by the bar staff. The bbq food is outstanding; fresh, plentiful and tasty. We enjoyed our first visit so much, we had to go back. During our two visits we tried the brisket, burnt end pork, pork ribs, chicken wings and cucumber salad. All of it was absolutely amazing. Devon also looked after us and gave us a behind the scenes tour. Located at the Palms hotel make sure you take the time to visit.
Located in the Palms Casino, you'll find Mabel's BBQ by Michael Symon. Service was awesome and it's a huge restaurant if you you have a large party.Food:Cucumber SaladPork Belly Burnt EndsCrackling Pork RindsSauces were also yummy. I liked the sweet BBQ and Cleveland mustard mixed. The food was delcious and flavorful, especially the soy, peanuts and cilantro on the Pork. I wouldn't order the cucumber again. I wasn't a fan of the sour cream.Overall, I'm excited to try the other BBQ dishes and would highly recommend.
