Outstanding food and folks. First visit this morning and Bagel breakfast was great. Brought my wife and our friend back for lunch which was brilliant ? Love this place, it's a gem!
This place is a gem. Although I've only been there twice, it's been great both times. Great fresh rye breads, sandwiches, pickles, fast, clean and friendly. Good menu too. "I'll Be Back"
Great bagel shop! A little out of the way from Las Vegas but definitely worth the drive. All items are very fresh, quickly prepared and the place is very clean. One of the best bagel sandwiches I’ve ever had. I recommend the french toast bagel.
This place has great customer service. Everyone is super friendly and willing to answer any questions you may have. They have lots of options and even when it’s super busy they are patient and kind and want to make your visit one to remember so you keep coming back. This is definitely my top choice for bagels and pasta!
Great bagels and today I had a Taylor ham (porkroll) egg and cheese on a sesame seed bagel and it was delicious. They have great deli sandwiches, pastries and desserts as well. Worth a try for sure!!
Went for the first time today 1/16/2022 and wow! Awesome prices, great people and amazing bagels. Will definitely need to try more of their menu next time. Helps it's next to smith's can do a grocery and bagel run all in one go. Also worth noting a large (16oz) coffee was 1.89. I haven't seen such a respectable coffee price in a long long longgggg time.
My son stumbled on this place accidentally & FaceTimed me from there because he didn’t think he could do it justice just by word of mouth. 14 bagels, 2 tubs of fresh cream cheese and a few dessert choices later we felt like we were back in NYC. The bagels are perfect, just the right amount of chew and oh so delicious. We’re done with Bagel Cafe, their horrible customer service, mediocre bagels & don’t even get me started on Einstein Bros. Now that we’ve found this gem the others will be a distant (and sad) memory. Thanks Life’s A Bagel. It took us 10 years of the rest to finally find the best.
TLDR: Good spot, but the bagels are nothing specialAs a transplant from the northeast, I had read the reviews and been looking forward to trying the bagels here, so let me be clear that we only had bagels (3 kinds) and cream cheese on our recent visit. Life’s a Bagel has all sorts of interesting offerings besides bagels, including pre-made dinners (pot pies, pastas), salads (white fish, potato), sweets (cookies, pies), meats (Nova lox, Taylor Ham), and if you are looking for a tasty lunch or take home meal, you might find it here. However, if you are looking for a bagel like back east, you won’t find it here. Their bagels are totally fine and good, but I wanted to write a review because I was convinced I was going to be rewarded for driving out of my way to buy bagels like you find in NY, NJ, and sometimes PA. You won’t, and as much as I hoped otherwise, my cynical husband was right.
Bagels in abundance! Variety of great and not so common flavors are offered plus old fashioned good down to earth comfort foods like hot soup of the day and deli sandwiches plus a nice desert case. We had the bagels and they were very generous with the cream cheese. They make the bagels large and authentic like they should be ie; great chew factor and plenty of toppings on the everything, poppy, sesame and onion bagels. I liked they had a marble rye bagel. You don’t see those many places anymore. The pretzel bagels are great for sandwiches too! Decent priced and good quality overall.
Awesome staff, great food and a solid cup of coffee. You can tell they’re apart of the community and have a good amount of regulars.
