The interior is beautiful and elegant with dim lighting. The food is insanely delicious! For our entrees, we ordered the salmon dish and the lobster noodle dish (I forgot the names oops). I also ordered the flower in the garden cocktail, and it was the perfect balance-not too sweet or too strong. The reason for only 4 stars is due to lackluster service. When we arrived for our reservation, no one was around for like 5 minutes, and it took awhile to flag someone down to get the check and leave. Other than that, I’d recommend to try this place at least once!

I am from Virginia. First time eating here with my wife. With tip we paid a total of $92. It's rather pricey. Overall the experience was unique and special. The ambiance is calming. Very beautiful atmosphere inside. It has that fancy feeling. We ordered the following:- Thai ice tea (it was amazing!) $5- Chicken pad see ew (it was tasty) $15- Stir fried crispy catfish (I ordered mild and it was extremely spicy. I normally can tolerate heat but it was too much. I asked them to add coconut milk similar to panang curry and they honored it.) $17- Raw oysters (it was a bit off, unfortunately it didn't have chili lime but only fried shallots) $22- Mango sticky rice (it was amazing!) $15- Steam rice (kinda sucks that they charged for rice) $2.50+ 8.4% for tax, total was $84 + $12 tip = $92.

Lamaii is date night Thai food with a wine list that would put many a high-end casino restaurant to shame. They also have a cocktail list, and an impressive craft beer selection. There are so many excellent dishes that it helps to have a few couples there to dine in true “shareable plates” Thai fashion. The business has formed such a stronghold that they have expanded with a second location in nearby Henderson.

1. atmosphereCozy and neat local gem , very unique decor with Thai style a lot of yellow and gold color. Comfortable dining chair and booth.2. ServiceReceptionist was super nice and she had this big smile on her face. But our server was kind of cold and distracted. She didn’t make us feel very welcomed for some reason and it almost feel like something was bothering her.3. FoodWe ordered salmon carpaccio, fresh oyster, crispy chicken wing for appetizer, and Panang duckAnd lobster as the main course. Everyone was super good. Especially the oyster and lobster.

Lamaii is an amazing Thai Restaurant. I ordered the Panang Curry with duck and chicken Pad Thai, both dishes were incredible. I usually don’t enjoy duck but this duck was cooked perfectly, and the Panang Curry sauce had the perfect balance of spice, savory and slightly sweet. I’m very particular when it comes to Pad Thai, and the Pad That at Lamaii definitely met my expectations and tasted delicious. The service and staff were very prompt and friendly, I arrived close to closing time but did not feel rushed; I was given top-notch service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Thai food.

We arrived here for dinner after having dinner reservations for 6 and we needed an extra seat. After helping the host figure out how to accommodate us, we finally got seated. This was my 1st time having Thai food and this fried lobster on a bed of noodles was INCREDIBLE!!!

Food and service was fabulous.

We came on Valentine’s Day, made a reservation a week before, and was seated in less than 10 minutes. The appetizers were served in less than 30 minutes. The food was great but not worth the 2 hour wait. We were patient because it’s a holiday so we didn’t want to pressure them & be a Karen but they never checked on us and we had to constantly remind them. We waited another hour for the check.

I was recommended this by 2 people and so I brought some friends from Florida here during my first time. I'm very picky with my Thai food because I'm Thai, so...Here are my thoughts on the experience:1. The spicy crab curry was my favorite! Spicy and flavorful! I would definitely recommend this.2. The Kao Soii did not include yellow noodles, which was odd because in Chiang Mai, there was always yellow noodles added to the dish. Not much coconut in that dish, and that was not how we used to eat it.3. The fried catfish was bland but the mango salad underneath it was good. It also wasn't crispy.4. The place had a great atmosphere. They had lots of booths and that's very good for groups.5. Service wasn't that great because there was a lot of waiting, but it wasn't bad. It was understandable because there were a few groups in the restaurant and only one lady serving. She was very nice.6. Crab fried rice was very good! The group favorite! So was the crispy duck panang!!!7. Expensive for small dishes and for Thai food, but not that bad.
