LAGO offers fantastic views of the Bellagio fountain and the strip. Food is very good however the portions are small and pricey. They do market the restaurant as a small plate restaurant so small portions are to be expected. LAGO has a nice variety of food and cocktails on their menu - enough options for most people. Staff was very friendly and professional!
Food was Ok, not great, nor outstanding. Expected better quality. Food better at any other place. Service was not up to par to expectations either. Service staff seem to have too many tables and they come by far and in between. Not as attentive and focused on service as expected either.

I made a reservation to specifically have window seating. When I checked in with the hostess I asked again for window seating which I was told that would not be a problem. When we were seated however we did not have a window seat. I asked the hostess again for window seating and I was told specifically because we did not have a party of four we were not able to have window seating. The entire reason we went to this restaurant was for the atmosphere. We were there at the restaurant for 90 minutes and a table for four sat empty the entire 90 minutes. I will not be going back and I will in fact tell everybody I know to not go to this restaurant for the lack of customer service.
Rain and lightning only added to the ambiance. Wonderful food and great service.

Iâve been to Vegas 5 times and Iâm use to fine dining in Vegas. This has to be the worse experience Iâve had, so far. Iâm from nyc and Iâm use to high end restaurants, but this restaurant really tried it. When my boyfriend and I got seated,I order the Lago Cocktail. I was told it was their version of a martini. Come to find out, I was given a drink with a huge ice block and small pieces of ice in a martini glass. What a ripoff! I tried to order another drink and the waitress recommended the margarita because it didnât have ice but I had to cancel it. We ended up finishing our food before it even came. Overall the service was terrible . The drinks are a scam and I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
