The service wasnât great. Food was only ok it was cold half the time it came out.
Don't let the modest entrance fool you. Inside it's very hip and classy. It is loud but we didn't find it unbearable. Small plates so you get to try a variety of offerings. The onion soup has a souffle style top of hard crusted cracker w parmesan dome, best we've ever had and we're in our 60s. Caesar salad outstanding too. Meatballs delicious - spicy. Ambiance is very upbeat but not obnoxiously so. Our waiter was good but she did go missing a few times. The place was full, Saturday night. The prices are very reasonable for this location. Everything associated with the Wynn is typically pricey so they can maintain a more refined experience.
Beautiful place, good food, nice atmosphere.
Came for our one year wedding anniversary as we ate here last year and loved it! La Cave just does not miss - excellent food, ambience, and service. Canât wait to come back again!
Love this place! I visit every time I am in Vegas and they never disappoint!
We were not offered half of the food, servers went to the tables on either side of us. We were however offered the same pancakes 5 TIMES. We have been here several times and it seems like it gets worse every time. This will be our last time going. Sitting on couches with your knees at your chin is a BAD idea anywhere. My daughter had a dress on and was trying desperately to eat without everyone looking up her dress. Is it so hard to add tables and chairs? This may be a trendy thing but is anyone comfortable eating like that? Especially if you are an adult.
We came for an early dinner so we were one of three tables that were seated. The restaurant has a beautiful aesthetic and the food was pretty good. Wish we couldâve been there when the place was a bit busier to get the true energy we were expecting.
Weâll be back at Wynn next month and will definitely eat at LaCave!
Overall we enjoyed our dinner at La Cave. We ordered crab lettuce cups, meatballs, flatbread, french onion soup and the charcuterie plate. The portions were good and the food was delicious. My only complaint would be about the meat & cheese plate, although it was abundant compared to most places (so I didn't complain at the restaurant}, we ordered 4 cheeses and two meats. One of the cheeses we ordered was the Gouda which was NOT a Gouda, it was basically an orange Parmesan. Anyone who orders a Gouda is looking for Gouda not Parmesan. It was super hard and salty. I don't appreciate restaurants trying to be "fancy" pulling S like that. At least tell the customer in advance was it actually is. There was so much of it on the plate, but nobody ate it. What a waste. Also we only got 3 cheeses instead of the 4 that we ordered, and I think it was a double portion of the Parmesan disguised as Gouda. Otherwise, Yes I recommend this place. Good value for portion size as the other fine dining in Vegas has become increasingly outrageously priced.
Very average. Started off strong â cocktails, bacon wrapped dates, beef carpaccio were all amazing. Dinner was all downhill from there. Two of our orders were straight up incorrect, both beef crostinis were waaaay over cooked, and the seared ahi was super boring. Vegas local. For the money, and especially the Wynn, I expected better. Wonât be going back; would not recommend.
