Fresh fish! Had to come here 2x during my vacation. Had the Sashimi/sushi/roll lunch combo both times. Beautifully prepared both times. Price very reasonable for the quality. Wish they had a sushi case to display the fish, but I did observe a chef breaking down a salmon behind the sushi bar during my first visit. This place would be packed all the time if it were located where I live. However since there’s so many sushi restaurants in Vegas, there was plenty of seating during both my lunchtime visits.
Highly recommended location.Deceptive from the outside how nice this place is.We had the lunch bento boxes which were super tasty.
We had a wonderful experience at Kaizen. The food, drinks and mochi ice cream were all so delicious. The server, host and other staff all took terrific care of us and made it our favourite dinner while we were visiting Las Vegas. Thank you!
Best egg rolls ever- butterflied , crisp and tender insides to dip. I usually do not like fried egg rolls, these i make an exception. Witnessed beautiful rolls come from the var, great presentation. My simple Alaskan roll with eel sauce had a good bite, This place a must
This place is surprisingly one of the best sushi I ever have in the US. Seriously I had no expectation at the beginning when I looked at Yelp reviews. Once I stepped inside the restaurant I was so impressed at how the chef dressed up very professional. The atmosphere and deco were just simple and clean but look amazing. Sashimi was fresh and the rolls were very tasty.
Had some great Sweet Shrimp, the heads where perfect, lightly tempura with all the antennas. Super friendly staff and owner, a real extensive menu. They take pride in their craft and restaurant
Tokyo roll (picture), friendly service, accommodated our large group of 9.
I’ve been going here for over a decade. The service over the past few years has seriously declined. People are waiting to even be GREETED at the door, much less SEATED. The servers walk around and act like they don’t see 3-4 groups waiting. It’s sad to see it go to this because the sushi itself is amazing! Owners need to STEP IT UP.
Food was good, would eat here again. Giving 3 stars because the prices that are in the menu photos posted by Kaizen are NOT current. Neither are the prices in their online ordering system. We ordered 5 items by phone for pickup and paid a total of over $10 more than the prices advertised. When we called to inquire, they were unable to match the prices that they posted online.
The food was amazing, so many options, and the experience felt very authentic. One of the best sushi restaurants I've ever visited
