Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This web site will compare thousands of hotel sites and usually will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't be let down.A very nice resort / casino off-strip. Staff was friendly. Our room, a basic king bed room was large. Beautiful grounds, including walking paths, koi pond, waterfalls, good buffet. We did not have time to visit on-site restaurants. Recommended
Really nice spot to get a cabana for the day! Kids and adults all had a good time.Seemed a bit understaffed around the pool area though. Service was slow and the cocktails were, let's just say, underpowered. Honestly tasted like they were giving out virgin drinks and charging cocktail prices. At the end of the day we got a bill with gratuity already included. Not a big deal, I always tip 20% min, but if you're having to force people to tip then you probably understand that your service wasn't very good. You can fix that though! Looking forward to a better experience next time!
Beautiful grounds/garden with waterfalls, rivers and bridges. There are also a few patio swing chairs along the paths to rest and relax while taking in the tropical water features/landscaped views. Love hearing running water with balcony doors open in our room, which was very clean and had very comfortable bed! In addition, Employees were so nice and helpful! (Swim Pool also has a big waterfall feature).
This is a very nice hotel on the west side of Las Vegas. Every time i have visited, the staff has been great, valets take good care of the cars, and the rooms have been very clean and tidy. The rooms in my experience have been pretty big, which is a definite plus. It’s very hard to find anything negative, but if I had to list something, the thermostats in each room are probably older than me and need updating, but that’s just being nit picky. This is a great place to stay if you want to come to Vegas, but don’t necessarily want to stay on the strip.
This property is beautiful and the rooms are nice with big bathrooms and comfy beds. We had a comp room with a Juliet balcony and a nice view.Check in was fast and easy and staff was very accommodating to our requests on location and feather free room. There is a nice garden area and good restaurants on property and it is attached to the Rampart casino down a long hallway, (which is nice if you want to use it or avoid it!).The only thing that was shocking was what a mess the pool area was, there were used towels everywhere even though the pool area was not crowded. They were on the ground and piled on loungers not in use. Chairs were all messy as well.We were surprised at a property of this level that none was attending to the area.If we had paid a premium resort fee I would have made a complaint, but as it was a comp stay we just went back to Aliante where the pool is small and well attended to swim.
My 2nd time staying here at the JW Marriott. John and the rest of the staff in valet provide amazing customer service and make you feel welcomed! Checking in was a breeze and staff was friendly. The hotel does have some dated brass fixtures in the bathrooms, but that’s just more of a personal thing since I prefer brushed nickel. My room was clean and everything worked. I do wish the rooms came with a microwave to reheat leftovers but no biggie. Highway and shopping center are down the street from the hotel.
Smoky environment, they need an up to date air cleaning system. Even hallways to rooms are smoky, if you Have asthma this is not a good place for you. This place needs updated furnishings are old, swim chairs and tables are worn out. . Lobby furnishings are worn out, tired looking. Also, pool closes at 5pm, doesn't open till 10am. These hours need to be earlier open later close.Housekeeping doesn't keep up. Old drinks just sitting around over night.Starbucks doesn't open till 7am, they need to be open by 6am or sooner, and earl gray Cafe is terrible.Staff at resort is helpful. This resort shouldn't be classed with JW anymore, it's more like a standard no frills hotel. I won't come back again.
I’ve been thinking for some time if I should leave this review and I finally decided to do so. Last weekend my amazing sister-in-law had thrown me a surprise weekend and a spa treatment at the JW Marriott Hotel’s spa-salon for my bachelorette party. The event was carefully planned months in advance. A contract was signed for services for me and other 13 girls! We arrived to the Spa early in the morning on time, but no one knew what to do with us, the manager or receptionist was looking confused and stressed, didn’t even give us a smile (maybe I couldn’t see if because of his mask, but I could see an unfriendly look in his eyes.) It was a total chaos from the very beginning. We were told to pay in advance for the service not yet rendered. Which I found strange but whatever. We were overcharged numerous times, the staff didn’t follow the schedule, and because of this, all of our activities of the day outside the spa was delayed or canceled. We were offered no drinks, nothing, for $240 for a low level manicure and pedicure of the same low level with a regular coating. I think they asked me if I want water. There was no music in salon and we just sat awkwardly there. The quality was worse than a second-rate salon for $20 to be honest. I, as a bride, was supposed to have a special treatment, which was agreed upon in advance. But not only was it not given to me, but I almost got less than the other girls. if I had not reminded in time that I also want a bamboo stick leg massage I would’ve not received it. Even though the nail technicians were nice and friendly, I didn’t find them professional. My sister-in-law got her finger cut and wasn't even offered a discount for the inconvenience! Which any self-respecting place with these rates usually offers. My friend waited for 2 hours for an appointment, she ended up leaving in 3 hours tired and disappointed. It was supposed to be a wonderful unforgettable day of relaxation for me and my family and friends! It was a day I will never forget, that's for sure though. The spa management should be ashamed of their work. They should have offered reimbursement with a gift-card or something to us! Even though I have no desire to come back ever again. They didn’t even try to apologize to us. No excuses can justify such poor service and my ruined bachelorette weekend! I don't recommend this spa place to anyone! All they want from you is just fabulous amount of money but they don't want to provide the right service or better say any service at all. Also, the restaurant Jade wasn’t accepting us at the table until we’re all arrived. We were about 20 people of course two or three people could have been a little late. They made sure though to “kindly” ask us out while we were waiting to have our credit cards back. Some of us were still dining! Unacceptable! Again, these are places Inside the hotel around the casino area.I’ve been residing in several countries and hotels of certain level. I know from my own experience what a quality service means. I hope the Marriott Hotel will take action against their business partners who have absolutely ruined their reputation. I and 20 other people of my guests will never return to this hotel because of their Spa!
It’s worth noting the hotel was on dirty dining but we had our res confirmed. The service really went down after covid. Not a family friendly hotel. I booked two room and asked for the early time check in on the app, showed it’s ready. I still arrived late due to having two toddlers and an infant and the room wasn’t ready.Took about 1.5 hours to get it ready and I wasn’t informed, yet I had to contact front desk to send the keys upstairs, they refused siting policy( policy is to verify id but since they already verified my id and charged for it then it doesn’t apply here) I had to drag my little and go downstairs to be yelled at by a “manager” with dollar signs tattoo on his neck. He tells me I was never checked in, so why did you charge my card?? Why does the app says I was and I’m already in the first room. He uses his hand to sign “talk to the hand” I felt like I was mid Harlem street not the JW!Furthermore later in the evening we ordered food, they didn’t tell us food was downstairs by the front desk, they didn’t bring it up so I finally called and found out it’s been there, my husband got it. He went upstairs and the silverware was not included so I called for silverware, 30 minutes goes by and I called again to check status and they say it will com up soon. Waited 10 and called but no one picked up.. I called again about 10-15 times and no one picked up! They literally stopped picking up the phone! They knew the number it came from but they didn’t care. I went downstairs to the front desk to find that same rude manager. That’s their passive aggressive way of not responding. I asked what’s going on, and he answers by saying they are short staffed. Meanwhile two desk agents are standing and chatting on the side, i looked at them and he said we don’t pick up desk calls here, this is all in the back! The front desk only deals with check in and reservations. It was terrible service from a 5 star hotel, I got better service at a 2 star. NoMatter how much you’re spending, it seems like the new model “we don’t care, you chose to come here”They had a wedding under our room that lasted till 10pm. Factoring that I called 2 weeks and 2 days in advance to let you know I have little ones, you still put me on top of that wedding and the kids not sleeping. The good experience we had was at the pool, very nice and accommodating staff. Also, the only restaurant worth eating at is Jade.
I’d like to start by saying that John at check in and cliff at valet we’re both amazing! Both genuine people with great customer service. I’m rating this property a 3 star due to the lack of maintenance. It’s a beautiful property however it needs some attention. Starting with the elevators, they give off a dirty vibe with the scuff marks all over the carts. Cart 12, had a foot print on the top left side. Gross! Elevators definitely need to be cleaned. The room I stayed in had two beds, one of which the mattress was sloped outward, the ceiling fan was loud which, okay- I understand that but it looked like it was ready to fly off the wall. Lastly we had dual sinks and the hot water faucet on the sink to the right was hard to turn which is a super easy fix for maintenance. All they have to do is change out a cartridge. Aside these few issues, I didn’t really have time to explore the hotel much. Hopefully this review will give insight to the next person booking.
