service as great. the ladies are all very attentive and gracious. peking duck was outstanding. passionfruit tea was refreshing on a hot summer day.
The best place to eat I wish they was open now omg the food is delicious I swear the only place I will go to for the pork and fried rice and cake noodle yummy yummy yummy.. Updated I'm so DAMN HAPPY THIS PLACE IS OPEN AGAIN FINALLY..I LOVE this restaurant today is 06/25/2022 @ 6:45 ordered my usual they had a wedding party but so you what that meant and what your thinking the wait was gonna be LONG but that was NOT THE ISSUE HERE these employees have awesome customer service employees double check if someone helped you and nowadays you hardly find good customer service around but thus is my spot.. I advise everyone to at least try this place you won't regret it cause I don't..THANK YOU JOYFUL HOUSE OF CHINESE CUISINE FOR YOU AWESOME SERVICE
It was just ok guess the Chinese Cantonese food in California tastes different but great and here it was so bland and asked for veggies in the noodles which had nothing in but the noodles and beef that asked for but was still missing the veggies which they did give me. I don't think I'll go there again. Have to find a good Chinese place to eat here in Vegas. Servers were real nice.
Truly authentic Cantonese dishes. Delicious and generous portions. While visiting Vegas, I dined there twice! Worth veering off the strip.
The duck was amazing, general tso chicken and fried rice was great too, HUGE portions on the rice for sure! Great service, super friendly staff. We were checked on multiple times too, felt very welcome!
Although they had a variety of authentic options we chose some more traditional dishes. They were somewhat underwhelming. We should have gone for one of their live fish tank options which I am sure would have been a better choice. One of our dishes was cold so we had them re-wok it and it was fine. Not sure we will give it another try but cannot say anything bad. Getting a fresh fish from their many tanks might motivate me to try it again.
We travel to Las Vegas at least once a year, sometime more. We have a niece who lives her and one day we decided to have Chinese food off the strip. It has brown a family tradition that we go here every visit. The food is very good and my wife says it’s the best lemon chicken she has ever had. There is nothing fancy or glitzy about this restaurant, it’s just a quality meal that you’ll love.
The food was amazing. Customer service was A1. Food was fresh, well seasoned and prepared with experience. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
This is a good Chinese and seafood restaurant. There are numerous Chinese food entrees, as well as many fresh seafood options on the menu. The food was overall good, just slightly pricey. The service was average. I had to ask my server for drink refills, she didn’t visit my table very frequently. When it was time to pay my bill she emphasized her tip should be in cash due to the Apple Card I used doesn’t allow the tip to be added to the bill at this restaurant. if she was as attentive to providing me service, as she was towards getting her tip, the experience would have been outstanding.
If you are searching for authentic Chinese food at remarkably reasonable prices, Joyful House is the place. I spent three weeks in China and never had as good a meal as I did right here in my own backyard.I love the money Buddhas that preside over the place. It makes me feel like royalty that I get to eat this well. The restaurant specializes in fresh seafood. But check out that whole Peking duck. I have never seen one arrive at the table whole. OMG. What a treasure.I also loved the sizzling beef tenderloin mignon in black pepper sauce. The presentation is like Mexican fajitas. It arrives on a sizzling platter. You can hear it before you taste it.The beef was oh so tender. The black beans added a salty, savory spike of spice. The hot and sour soup was also a dramatic production. Our waitress expertly ladled out the soup into bowls, then left the pot on table for us to dip into again and again.Joyful House is a master at the basics. Our pork fried rice was perfect. The rice was fluffy crispy. And there was a mountain of it!Ditto with the egg rolls and the dumplings. The egg roll skins were crispy; they almost flaked just looking at 'em. The dumplings had a wonderfully chewy gelatinous skin. The minute you sit down the wait staff brings a pot of tea. It steeps as you select your dishes. The restaurant has plenty of parking, which is unusual for Chinatown restaurants. The front door is close by so there's not a lot of walking.I left feeling Joyful that I had such a magnificent meal.
