This place is mismanaged. They are untrained staff and burn outs. This place has fallen far from what it used to be. Inconsistent with food temperature and execution. This is what people accept for convenience. Parking can be a challenge. You are warned.
We really like this bar, very cozy inside, service always good, but I wanted to try the weds steak and lobster special for $19. Ok so the saying goes you get what you pay for, the tail maybe was 3 oz? And that is pushing it, the sirloin about 5-6oz , doesn't come with anything else, so if you want a salad or sides those will be extra , the steak was cooked right but it was a little tough.Husband had ranch chicken sandwich, that was really good. Overall we for sure will eat there again, just no steak special
The food was pretty good. We went on Sunday which is half off steaks, so it was completely packed. So are service wasn't very good. I had a New York it was good but not cooked to my temp. but was good. 2 others got New Yorks and said they were delicious. 1 Ribeye and they said it was good little under flavor. 1 filet and she said it was good, but again not cooked to the right temp. 1 person got carna asada tacos and they were not prepared properly. 2 baked potatoes came out cold, but they brought out new ones. It was hard to get drink refills, again are server was not very attentive. I will definitely give it another chance. Just not on half off steak day. Oh one more thing the carrot cake was out of this world one of the best I have ever had.
Where do I begin? It was our first time coming to John Cutter I found it on Google search. From the time we walked into the door until we left Chris was amazing. Chris is the best bartender and server I have ever encountered, and I am very well traveled. ( I have met many servers) I never had someone as informative, kind, and welcoming as Chris. He is consistent and should definitely get Server/Bar Tender of the year if there is such an award. I would like to thank Chris and the rest of the staff for being so kind to us. It really goes a long way and it’s good to experience such amazing customer service! :) We are definitely new regulars! :)
Food was Great, tasty hot & worth the wait
Went during the weekly steak & lobster for $19 and boy it was not even worth it at that price! Pretzel was basic with no flavor and the chicken sandwich was just tenders put on bread with a sad presentation. Steak was so tough I had to put in an extra effort just to get through it! The lobster was a standard with no flavor and the atmosphere was terrible. It was very dark and hard to see and uncomfortable. It was my first and definitely my last experience.
The wait was a little long to get seated but it was good. Got the $19 steak and lobster only on Wednesdays and Saturdays Friday ribs half off the food was good the staff very attentive the dessert was excellent I recommend the chocolate cake. But once we got seated and ordered our food I had a chance to glance at them bringing out different orders and I saw a burrito that was huge looked delicious so I know I will be going back 85% of the people I’d say got the steak and Lobster but the other stuff that I saw really looked good. They will see me again
It's a really nice place for diner! Is like a cantina but also a restaurant, I really love the decour! The food was good and we went ln a Saturday that they have a special with lobster and steak really good for the price! The staff was very friendly
very cool bar, bartender made a perfect drink. had a standard cheesebuger but it did not taste standard. very good food. moderately busy but got our food fast and the servers were amazingly friendly.
Good food great at extremely reasonable prices. Place kinda smallish and they forgot our utensils? We had steak and lobster special for $20.
