The food is absolutely delicious they’ve had to raise their prices a bit but the amount of food is still worth the $$$ they have a good selection of options and they also have added a pretty big selection of Jamaican spices and sauces along with other Jamaican foods and snacks will forever be my favorite spot ❤️❤️ 10/10
I would drive 30 minutes to get food because it was that good but I will no longer do so. Every time I come the menu is different. I could usually find a fish or shrimp alternative now I can’t. They haven’t had meat Pattie’s the last 4 times I came and a lot of the “groceries” they now offer aren’t stored properly. This was gem I feel like they lost the love they put into the food once they started to expand
I had the oxtail and it was excellent, succulent and very tasty. The staff was very friendly. My friend had Jerk chicken and she loved it.
First time in Jerk Dat and YOU have to go! This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! We had the jerk chicken and curry goat. Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, and beautiful presentation. The staff truly cares about your experience. I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. The Jerk Dat is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service we received was so amazing, and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcome, coming from NC for the week, and gave us an amazing experience. I hope to come back here when I go on vacation.
This was the first time that we came to Jerk Dat. We wanted Jamaican food and based on the reviews we decided on this place. We ordered 2 meals; the Jerk wings, red beans & rice w/cabbage. We also ordered the combo jerk chicken w/ oxtails dinner. Overall, these dinners over priced and very blan. The rice was mushy and tasteless, & the cabbage just tasted like pepper. Overall, I would have to say that the best thing on the plate.tjw At a price point of $50+ it really isn't worth the hype or money. ??
Jerk chicken and ribs. The rice and peas and cabbage are equally tasty. The staff are pleasant and helpful. The food plentiful. Get yourself some. You will not be disappointed.
Bought a plate of oxtails with a side of cabbage and a side of jerk chicken got charged $37.99. But I didnt care thought it would be worth it, was expecting quality. Im Caribbean so just wanted a taste of home. And they just slopped whatever messily in the plate highly disappointed with portions n presentation for what I paid. Tasted ok but I should have went to a restaurant on the strip.
We had a really great experience here. Started with a beef patty, nice and flaky. The oxtail and jerk chicken are delicious. Really tender and flavorful. The chef is very friendly and welcoming. We also tried the rum cake, it is soft and not too sweet. Perfect ending to the meal. Would definitely come back to try other items.
Elijah the owner, OMGosh was thee BEST! As usual for a Jamaican, he treated us like Family! The hospitality was the bomb.com I’m from NOLA, so you know the the name fit right w/me! ANYTIME you’re in Vegas, PLZ DONT miss this spot! EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! From the homemade ginger lemonade, to the food, to the dinner, to the desserts. As you can see, I DIDNT give it a chance. I 4got to take pics. I also had rum cake, of course that went 1st. For ALL this I say: 1 Love Mon ❤️
The food is good but with any long standing successful restaurant or any business consistency is key. First time I had their food it was so delicious. Second time not good or hot like the first time they cut up the chicken and small pieces of bones were everywhere. They were basically out of everything and this was around the 6 pm hour. And the person that was taking the order was very rude. And my order came incomplete.
