Japaneiro is one of my “must do” stops whenever in Las Vegas. It’s located in a small strip mall Southwest of the Strip on Warm Springs Road. They are very accommodating with their menu; the tasting menu is for two but can be done for one or three. Two of us did the 7 course tasting menu while our third went a la carte due to her allergy to shellfish.We started with a bottle of 2018 Justin Isosceles Cabernet Sauvignon; it was purplish but wasn’t too tannic … just right was the call from the table.The Tasting Menu started with Teramoto Scallop (raw scallop with uni and ikura in a yuzu sauce), followed by Salmon Ceviche with crisps, French Escargot (1 each), Oyster Uni Foie Gras (one of my “to die for” dishes), followed by the other “must have” dish, Truffle Marrow Filet (we ordered two) … the dessert was Tiramisu. A la carte orders included Spicy Miso Salmon Chip, French Escargot, Lamb Chops and Foie Gras.What can I say? This is always one of the best meals one can get in Las Vegas. It’s oriented to seafood but accommodates those that aren’t able to partake. Very reasonably priced for the quality of the ingredients and the preparation is flawless. Highly recommended!
This was our first time here our son found this spot on tictoc from a foodie account. The service was good. I like their beer and sake options. The oysters didn't taste fresh and weren't worth the price $10 each trust me we love oysters and don't mind paying for quality. The steak was average but great presentation. It was me my husband and our son and our bill was almost $400 and we only had one beer so can't say it was the alcohol that was pricey. They did have little finger foods that were affordable. This place is good but over priced if you ask me. We could've went to a beautiful and delicious restaurant on the strip for cheaper than that. We ordered from the menu because no one mentioned they had chef specials on the wall.
Dec5th 2021: To summarize- Very cozy place, Tasty food, Friendly Staff and what else can you expect! Went there with friends and came out feeling happy! Must try items- Rock Shrimp, Char Grilled Baby Octopus, Any fried rice or Noodles!Make sure you check the latest menu on their website..
Food and service were great!Guess they have HH 11pm-?Reason for 4 instead of 5 starts is the smell inside the restaurant. Not sure if it was just inside where we sat but it just smelled like drainage pipes?Would love to try them again and hope that was a one time thing. The steak and tiramisu was to die for!
Amazing place, the service is incredible. Zak was exceptional and flawless in taking care of us for our dining experience. The food was simply amazing.
Came here during happy hour and tried all types of food on the menu. Such good foods! The bone marrow is a must have. Definitely will return here again!

Great quality food! We tried the Chef Tasting - 7 course. It was perfect for us since we were visiting Vegas for a convention. We got to try a variety of dishes and it made our visit worthwhile. Love the presentation as well!
every dish was amazing, not only to eat but to look at... plating was visually stunning. I recommend you try everything. we had the 7 course CHEFS tasting...it was unbelievable.
Came here with my wife. We both really enjoyed the food. Everything we ordered was amazing. Will come back again.
