Food didn’t taste good.. I was very disappointed. Expected a lot better
We went to the International Smoke at the MGM Grand on August 20th. There were three of us. We had the Korean style BBQ Ribs with Truffle Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Mushrooms. The food was incredible... as good as it gets. The reason for the review was our waiter... Able. I am 67 years old and travel alot. I've been to hundreds of awesome restaurants. Able was the greatest waiter ever. Incredible service, incredible timing, and such an incredible personality. It doesn't get any better. Able is the G.O.A.T. Thank you for such a great experience!
I made a reservation a few days prior to my arrival in Vegas online. We arrived on time and were promptly seated in a comfy booth. It was a Saturday night and we noticed people that arrived after us sat at the bar. For that reason, reservations are suggested especially if you have a large group. The restaurant has an amped up sports bar/speakeasy vibe. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. I never had Korean BBQ before so I ordered the ribs and the seabass was highly recommended. The portion sizes are generous. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. We had brussel sprouts as a side. The sprouts were tasty but a bit too charred for my liking. I like to see more green than charred leaves. We enjoyed the seabass and it's presentation. If I had to do it over, I would have tried the American BBQ. The cornbread is great without the sauce that comes with it. The best part of my meal was the s'mores molten cake. The presentation was awesome and I could taste the smoke infused in the cake. Mmmmmm. Totally unique taste experience.
Without question, the best meal of our 9 day stay. The service was attentive and informative, the steak was perfection, and the mashed potatoes were the best I've ever had hands down. I had the Mahi Mahi and it was nice and flavorful. Definitely Recommend.
The description sounded amazing! We are staying at the MGM Grand and wanted to bring dinner up to our room. I studied the menu online, then went down to the very nice bartender to order our dinner to go. I asked specifically if the items I was ordering were spicy and did they have any freshly cracked black pepper. I explained that I cannot tolerate ANY spice or freshly cracked black pepper as both of these cause my throat to seize and close instantly. She went to consult the kitchen and came back and said “both are perfectly safe”. We excitedly placed our order. It was done quickly (10’ish minutes) and we came up to our room. Usually with new dishes my husband tastes it first to make she I am safe…but I asked the question and I was told that it was safe. I took a bite and felt the heat immediately. Fortunately I was able to spit it out and drown the spice with ice water. I had my husband taste the second one, it was far worse than the first one. Disappointedly, I called the restaurant and of course there was no answer. Why do restaurants think they have to make everything super spicy to make it flavorful? Very disappointing.
This is American slow cooked BBQ with Jamaican and Korean sauces. Eat your ribs with a fork. Pricey so be ready to spend $70 per person.

International Smoke had the best ribs I ever had. I got the Korean style and they were amazing. Pricey at $50 for full rack but worth every penny. Oxtail was great too! It’s a MUST EAT if your at Vegas in MGM.
Restaurant is located inside the MGM Grand. Note - The restroom is located across the hallway outside of the restaurant in the common area.We went to the restaurant because of Mrs. Curry and to support a woman entrepreneur and did not read the reviews ?. We were disappointed ? and recommend eating elsewhere. The salmon as you see in the picture was dry, hard and had no flavor. The two very very miniature potatoes were cut in half and served partially cooked. The sauce on the plate was an after thought and did not add any flavor to this dish. The cornbread was dry and the flavor was different and not tasty. The chocolate molten cake is an acquired taste. The drinks were tasty. Unsure the reasoning for a drink in a Spam container???? For the most part all of our food was left on the table.Service was great and wish the food was the same.Do not waste your money or time when there are so many restaurants to eat in Vegas.
The best ribs i've ever had. The service at the MGM location in Las Vagas was excellent. I recommend if you like ribs.
