Yesterday I tried Gritz Cafe in Las Vegas & seriously had the best customer service by far ever since I have been here! (New resident)They were so welcoming and friendly and attentive had the best music playing and the food was yummy! I am definitely going back!
Small home-cooked GREAT food. i always get Turkey chops. Chicken I have been told is good as well
Absolutely Delicious! Excellent Staff Perfect customer service and just all around a great place for breakfast
I love when I call in and get Diamond ? or one of the other ladies!!! Always friendly and patient even though they are ALWAYS BUSY! Our catfish platters were so good! Macaroni & cheese was so creamy, greens , cornbread, sweet potato fries & peach cobbler all tasted so great! My daughter got the cheese burger & fries, a classic but theirs was so flavorful! Side note: don’t forget to tip your phone order taker ? ✅??
So, once I knew that I'd be visiting Vegas, I started looking for a breakfast place that I could visit with my boyfriend. I chose Gritz based off of their name (I'm from the south) and for the menu items I saw listed online. This place did NOT disappoint. Everything was amazing, even the coffee was delicious! Staff was attentive and friendly and the price was perfect. Definitely going to visit again when we are back in town.
I most definitely will back... This will be my new Beakfast /Lunch spot whenever I come visit Las Vegas . Keep up the good work GRITZ CAFE ??
My sister took me here for my Birthday breakfast. I must say it was a very good choice! Chicken was fried and seasoned just right. I ordered my eggs over medium and I received just that. The white was cooked, but did not have the crunchy edges that I hate! English muffins toasted but not burnt, butter melted into the bread already, not like most places bring you the bread toasted and the butter on the side, by the time you spread the butter, the bread is cool and butter does not melt! They did it the right way!! I’m the pic I had already put pepper on my eggs. Definitely will visit here whenever I’m in Nevada, I’m a Cali girl.
Excellent food, beautiful staff, friendly professional customer service. Clean, bright establishment. Nice décor with spacious seating area inside the nice size restaurant. The best part is they have an outside shaded eating area. Make sure you have around fifteen minutes to wait on your food cooked to order and freshly served. The turkey chops were crunchy, juicy, and seasoned just right. The mac n cheese was mouthwatering. The yams were plate lickin’ good. One of the bread options, we think is cool, is the toasted croissants. Sadly, they were both a little rubbery. But we could tell that those buttery pastries would have been warm, fluffy, and tasty if we would have gotten them fresh. The shrimp, gritz, eggs and cheese perfectly done. Nice size serving portions.Easy parking. Friendly, good-looking customers excitedly waited for their orders while sharing their yummy past meal experiences. We are so happy we found this classy, soulful, delicious restaurant. Everyone will know our names very soon.
Gritz CafeThe last time I was here was 8 years ago. I am so glad that the cafe survived the pandemic because the food is soooo… good. This place is right next to the Las Vegas Police department… can’t get any safer than that! It is off the strip stuck in the middle of a residential & industrial area. Their specialty is grits, fried chicken wings, waffles.. Their fried chicken is crispy on the outside, so moist & tender on the inside. I don’t usually eat grits but I will eat it there, you can cheese omit too. The staff are very friendly… we had chicken & waffles, shrimp & grits & a Kentucky with a combination of 2 sides. Their Mac n cheese was on point, creamy & cheesy. Their collard greens was yummylicious! My son don’t usually have collard greens , he liked theirs. It is totally worth going there… my advice is go early, by noon… they don’t have much left even though they closed at 3pm. That’s how good the food is! Our server was Diamond & her service was sparkling. The photos will speak for itselfOh yes.. the peach cobbler was fantastic!
Ok, so my original plan was to get a picture of the food as well, but my mouth was watering by the time it came out. Everything we ordered was on point. Both the Catfish and Fried Chicken were amazing. The Gritz were nice and thicc. But the yams were literally flawless. Probably the best I have ever had. And it's Black Owned. I highly recommend visiting here when in town.
