Solid doughnuts and great service. I'm always fighting sticker shock at the doughnut spots in my new hometown here but I understand that if doughnuts are all you do, you need to make enough to keep the lights on. My one real complaint is their hours. I would stop in a lot more if they didn't close by 4PM. I drive past a lot and think I'd like some doughnuts but then they're closed. At least stay open late enough to catch impulse buyers on their way home from work. You're in a great spot to catch a lot of people heading home to Mountains Edge
Looked up this donut shop this morning and stopped in on the way to work at 6:45 ish AM. Really shocked. One small case of donuts is all they have in the whole shop. Extremely limited selection. Nice staff but won't be going back. :( There were not any where near 40 varieties. There were only about 10 to 15 varieties tops. Smallest selection I have seen anywhere. Sorry. Not impressed.

We ordered a dozen donuts at 8:30 am, to be picked up the following day at the same time. THEY SOLD THEM, before our pick up time, they had 3 of the 12, but they said sorry!! This order was for a special thing at work, with everyone picking their own donuts out for the order. Not happy! Don't count on them having your order if it's a big deal, try a more organized donut place, there are plenty.

I can't believe I've never noticed this little doughnut shop. It's tucked away like a secret little sweet treasure, just waiting to be discovered. I arrived around 9:15 am on a Tuesday (pretty early for me to be out and about) because I wanted to guarantee the best selection of treats. The bakery case was filled with so many pretty, colorful doughnuts. I didn't know what to choose because none of the items were labeled. It would have been nice to know what the options were and not have to ask the poor guy working behind the counter about what every flavor was. I selected a box of 4 doughnuts (churro, oreo cookie, caramel, and a chocolate cream), then added on an original glazed doughnut, croissant, and a little sausage pastry (my mom is visiting and she loves bakery stuff). The service was prompt and very friendly, and everyone there was super welcoming. There's nothing fancy about this shop. It's very plain (even the boxes are boring brown cardboard), but I don't require all the bells and whistles if the product is good. I'm happy to report that Glaze has a good product! The churro doughnut was the first place winner. So much cinnamon goodness, and a very nice flavor. Second best was the caramel doughnut. I loved the vanilla frosting. Next up was the cream filled, followed by the two worst of the bunch: the Oreo cookie and the original glazed. I judge a doughnut shop much like I do a pizza parlor -- on their basic item. At pizza places, I get a plain cheese pie. At doughnut shops, I get the original plain glazed. The glazed doughnut didn't taste very fresh. The bottom was very hard, and it tasted like it had been sitting in a vat of oil and soaked up a lot of the oil. That one was a "one and done" bite, unfortunately. The Oreo doughnut lacked flavor. It was bland and boring, and the cookies didn't make an impact at all. The other items were super fresh, especially the churro doughnut. It tasted fresh out of the fryer, and wasn't oily at all. I also loved the caramel topped doughnut, especially that vanilla frosting! It wasn't overpowering and the frosting-to-dough ratio was on point. Not too much, not too little. An A+ pastry for sure. These doughnuts are yeasty, but not light and airy. They are dense, with a consistency much like a cake doughnut. It's a strange hybrid, and one that may divide doughnut purists. Mom liked the savory bakery treats, too. Her official review is "they were so good, especially for someone who didn't want a doughnut." She gobbled BOTH of them down for lunch, so I think that's the sign of a satisfied customer. I will definitely go back here when I need a sugar high. I was so impressed with how friendly the employees were, and that's very important to me! All in all, this was a super cool perk! I mean, who doesn't need a little round fried dessert to brighten up their day?
