This place didn’t even come close to meeting our expectations. The Gilley’s Saloon is legendary for its top notch BBQ and contagiously friendly service. But the location in Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip is a disorganized mess with food that tastes like it got thrown away at the deli in a Walmart. I ordered the brisket fillet. Although there were various kinds of BBQ sauce on the table, the fillet came smothered in a dark alcoholic tasting sauce which I did not like. I’m okay with dishes that come smothered in sauce, but only when the menu mentions that, which this menu did not. Plus the whole fillet itself was tough, fibrous, and devoid of any Smokey flavor. It had no BBQ marks and didn’t resemble anything that had been in a smoker or on a BBQ grill. It was tough and wasn’t Judy. It literally tasted like an overdone pork chop that had been refrigerated all week and popped into a microwave. I also ordered the crème corn as one of my sides. The corn had peppers and slides in it which made it impossible to taste the crème or the corn. Once again, the peppers were not mentioned on the menu as part of the dish. When I brought the condition of the brisket fillet to the attention of my waitress, she was immediately dismissive and seemed in a hurry to take my plate away. She said I could have something else off the menu to try, so I selected the half of rotisserie chicken. That was mistake number two. The chicken turned out to be the only luke warm and was so dry and stringy, all the BBQ sauce in the world would save it. The waitress never came back to see if the chicken was okay and she never apologized or offered to have me address the matter with the manager. Instead she disappeared after dropping off the chicken and we ended up sitting there for 25 minutes with empty drinks and no contact with her. I finally flagged her down and asked for the bill to be brought over. She gave us 20% of everything, but they do that anyway for locals. The bill for three people was still $87, which was clearly excessive for lack of food quality. Overall this was an utterly terrible and dissatisfying dining experience. If you’re going to have a restaurant on the strip and associate under the name of Mickey Gilley, the least you can do is have great service and excellent tasting BBQ. This place really has neither. Instead, they serve dry, tasteless, and overcooked meals and have disrespectful and rude servers. This place is not at all worth your time, efforts or dollars to eat here. Hopefully it will close soon now that Mr. Gilley has passed away. If that happens, maybe we can get a better place to eat on the strip. Until that happens, I strongly recommend that you avoid this plate!

A person in our party wanted to visit this place and after seeing the reviews I was skeptical since there's other BBQ joints around Las Vegas. Let me start by saying the servings are enormous! The full rack of ribs are as long as your arm, no joke! So the prices are legit since you get so much food. I tried the southern fried chicken with southern tater tots and Mac and cheese. I was pleasantly surprised how tender and juicy the chicken was. The outer breading was crunchy but I enjoyed it. It came with 4 pieces of on the bone chicken. The southern tater tots were more like stuffed tots with cheese and jalapeños. Mine we're over cooked and a bit tough on the outside but another in our party had some fresh ones and they were pretty good. Mac and cheese was good, run of the mill but the shapes of noodles got me, wagon wheels! We also tried the pulled pork sliders, pork was good but the bread was hard on the top and soggy on the bottom. The sauces on the table were good, my favorite was the gold sauce. Other entrees we had in our party were the cowboy burger, full rack of ribs (HUGE), and brisket filet (big chunk of meat). Overall I was pleased with our meal especially after seeing ratings on Yelp. Would I go back? Not unless we were invited or someone else is paying.

Liked it a lot. Country themed. There was a dinner area and a dancing dinner area. We were pressed for time so we sat at the bar on the dinner side. Dinner was fantastic. Well served hot and tasty. I had a brisket plate, bbq sauce on the side. It came with potatoes and Mac& cheese. Brisket had good flavor and only a tad over cooked for my preference. Sides were very good as well. I'm not sure if they normally served the plate smothered in BBQ sauce but I couldn't allow them to destroy a perfectly good piece of meat like that. My opinion the bbq sauce would have been very overwhelming. I would definitely order it again. Daughter had what she thought was a small order of nachos. Turned out to be an explosive order of pulled pork nachos. Could have fed 2-3 people easy. Wife ordered traditional home made fried chicken. Well battered with perfect crisp and flavor. Located in the treasure island hotel, we will definitely make this a stop next trip.

Loved Gilley's and will definitely come back next time we are in Vegas! We were there earlier in the evening, so the band wasn't playing yet, and there weren't that many people, so I don't think we got the "full experience", but that is the time that worked best for our evening plans, so we enjoyed it anyway! We sat at the bar (our preference) and split a BBQ Nachos - it was HUGE and was plenty for 2 people to share as a meal. Note that we left off the pico and the jalapenos, and had the black olives on the side - just incase you think the pic of them looks "naked". Also note that they were layered - so the meat and cheese you see on top, is just the top....as you ate down, there was more meat and cheese buried inside! The bartenders were great - they kept up with us, without being overbearing. One thing to note for people who aren't familiar with this location - it is located INSIDE the Treasure Island casino building - the map has the location marked in the middle of the street, so we were a bit unsure of where to go till we looked at a few reviews that mentioned it being inside!

The food here was amazing. Their rack of ribs and marshed potatoes were delicious. Its located in Treasure Island so if you are saying close, its worth it. I can't wait to go back.

This place is like one big Country Western style party on the Strip!! Located in Treasure Island, Gilley's provides a unique experience a bit different from the usual party venue along the Strip. The bands and music that play there are really good and it is nice to see a disciplined dancing venue along the Strip. Some people actually dress up in keeping with the theme and decorum. The food is great as well, especially the BBQ dishes which are their specialties. Well worth a visit for both locals and visitors.

We enjoyed the great energy and friendliness of everyone who works at Gilley's Saloon, Dance and restaurant. The barbecue is extremely tasty and the servings and crazy humongous. I suggest that you request your French fries to be crispy and hot. Both entries had room temperature French Fries. Be really hungry when you go to eat. The Staff is very helpful and friendly. Great time and views from everywhere you look or dine. Great Texas BBQ. Hands down.

We were staying at Treasure Island and stopped in for dinner on our last night in town. The brisket “filet” and sides of broccolini, mashed potatoes, and Mac and cheese were fantastic. Big portions and friendly service made for a great meal!

We booked which I recommend as it’s busy. The servers were polite and friendly. The food was delicious and too much to eat. Definitely recommend

What an excellent little bar for country dancing, riding the mechanical bull ($10.00) or eating dinner. Their brisket sandwich was amazing... My daughter ordered nachos. Super tasty and enough for a few people. There was enough on a plate for two people. Hubby had the cowboy burger and he thoroughly recommends it to anyone who loves burgers.Hard to get dinner service on the dance/ bar side of Gillys but very attentive service in the restaurant.
