The oxtail meal was pretty tasty and tender. It had a lot of fat and I had to go to the store to get more gravy because they didn't put enough. Best cornbread I've ever tasted though. The sides are pretty small but they taste good.

First time eating here and let's just say I was blown away by the customer service. The food was delicious and the energy in the establishment was so warm and welcoming! I will be back and I will be bringing additional guest!
Hungry out-of-towner wanting to sit and socialize with my local friends over a meal but this establishment is take-out only (guessing due to COVID conditions). Don’t remember seeing take out only either on their website or Google, which would have saved me a drive. Oh well, maybe I overlooked it or should have called, either way no soul food for me. -k
The Best Soul Food in Vegas! I was a little skeptical because I'm a Soul Food cook and lover from Texas. I ordered the Catfish, Greens and Candied Yams, OMG! EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Beginning with the customer service. I ordered take-out and I stepped outside for a minute waiting and the owner personally delivered my delicious food and made it a point to introduce himself....Very Impressive! I drove 20 minutes back to my hotel and dove right in and couldn't stop. I thought I was sitting at my own dinner table. The food was still Hot, Fresh and Delicious. I know it was made with Love! Thank you for completing my visit in Vegas with the Taste of Love at Family Soul! ❤
There food was so good, they had a perfect amount of seasoning and they kool-aid was banging ? they where so polite I even asked for more thats how good there food was.
Let me just start out by saying, I was happy me and my family chose to eat here a couple days ago . The food was good and seasoned just right, my son even enjoyed every bit of his plate and he’s a very picky eater !! Another thing I loved about the restaurant was their hospitality, we were greeted nicely…checked on often and the chef also came to talk to us and checked on us . So that was pretty cool . My overall experience was good, only thing I would suggestion is a bigger portion size on the sides . But can’t wait to go back !
The Family Soul food restaurant was awesome whenever we're in Las Vegas again we will definitely visit and get filled up. I had the oxtails dinner and it was the bomb, you definitely get your moneys' worth.Thanks Family
It was the best soul food I have ever had in Vegas. I had the Ox Tail dinner with Rice Collard Greens and dressing and cornbread. And too top it of I had some Kool aid and it was just right. And they give you plenty of food. And for dessert I had some banana pudding and it was good. The servers we had were two young men. They were so nice they made sure we had everything. They didn't rush us when taking our orders. I almost forgot it was my birthday so they gave me some champagne on the house with my dinner. Me and my party were from Muskegon Michigan. Most amazing soul food in Vegas!!! Perfectly cooked! Perfectly flavored ! They have lemon pepper catfish that was so damn good! Greens were perfectly seasoned ! Cornbread was moist and great flavor and the Mac n cheese was also to die for! So glad we found this place and it’s close to home! We will forever be a customer! Keep up the great customer service! A wonderful family owned business! I tell everyone to go here to eat! Thank u again and we will see you soon
