Bloody Mary's from mini bar that's greeting you even b4 requesting a seat is made b4 anything. Fabulous idea! Food was simply divine & plentiful for brunch, from BBQ shack & steakhouse was cooked to perfection with lots of mouthwatering flavors that without any doubts will fulfill. Meaning more $ for the exceptional reasonable sorts of tables as well as variety of paying slots.
The barbecue is great. I always loved playing at Ellis Island. This was my first visit since the pandemic. I found the casino staff much less friendly than they used to be. At the blackjack tables they have continuous shuffle machines. A few tables, are manually shuffled, but that is not the norm. In my opinion, Ellis Island has lost its off the Strip atmosphere. It is now just like your commercial Strip casino. I will always return for the superlative barbecue. Ellis Island Casino has been voted off my Island!
Out of all the BBQ joints I’ve been in, I give it an average rating. The ribs were good but nothing I haven’t had before somewhere else. The bread was great. The coleslaw had way too many onions and way too much dressing. The bake beans were really sweet and kind of soupy. The corn on the cob was WAY over cooked and rubbery.It was good if your craving BBQ, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go again.
Very few dining options but I chose the half rack of ribs and half chicken plate. Sides are basic but accompany every single order. The BBQ is pretty good but a little heavy on the sauce in my opinion. But the prior reviews stating that the ribs are fall off the bone tender are very accurate! The half chicken was huge and between the two entrees I couldn't even finish it all, and I can eat! Overall, I would return here every time I visit Vegas. My total bill with tax was just over $20 and worth every penny due to the large amount of food you get. One of the very few great deals still going in Vegas! It's a small place so it can fill up quickly. It was not open for lunch during my visit to Ellis Island.
We wanted to get off the strip for a night and were so glad we did. This place is awesome! Hard to pinpoint what makes it so great but I think it could be to do with how condensed it is. Everything in such close proximity. I did slots and roulette and then had an utterly epic $11 steak dinner washed down with their home brew. Staff were so nice and helpful,I. Particular Scotty at the desk. Next time I'm in Vegas I'm staying here!
Favorite casino in Las Vegas. Make their own beer and it is delicious! They have cheap table limits and very good cheap food.
Food was fantastic! 15 of us all showed up at once and they seated us immediately. My husband and grandson both had the prime rib and couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The prices are extremely good for what was provided.
