They have vegan and gluten free options. Chef Beni came out and chatted with us. The food was very fresh and full of unique and tasty flavors. They deserve to be in a much better location, but they have made the little spot in an old strip mall very inviting. We're going to go back. If there is anything in the menu that you'd like to adjust, just ask. Chef Beni makes everything from scratch. He has been a chef for many years and really has created a place where those who need to be gluten free or vegan in their diet can find some yummy food. The price varies according to how hungry you are. Two of us ordered large plates and drinks, along with the tip we paid $50. Give them a try, we need to support small homegrown establishments like this. They deserve it.
Unique blend of Latin and Asian flavors. Very creative. Staff was superb! Beni, Eric, and everyone else was so welcoming! Looking forward to their expansion in Chinatown. It’s going to happen! God bless!
Excellent food. This is a hidden gem. I ate at China poblano also, frankly taste is better here. The tempura shishito peppers are unbelievable. The chef comes out to talk to you.. very nice. Will be back for sure.
Amazing local spot! Great food and great service. Absolutely try the fries, they are unique and delicious.
Coming to Las Vegas for three days, this was the one place we planned ahead to visit and it was well worth it! We were lucky to catch Chef Beni late on a Sunday evening when it was not too busy, and he shared with us a lot of information on the dishes, the recipe design, his past chef experience and restaurant endeavors and how he launched ChinaLatina. Three of us split up our dishes to try everything -- we had Honey Teriyaki Guava Chicken (my favorite), Latin Garlic Chicken, and Spicy Beef. All excellent, with unique flavors and very tender cuts of meat. I especially liked that you can select a different style of fried rice with each main dish, so we sampled Lechon Pork Fried Rice, ChinaLatina Fried Rice (blend of meats) and Achiote Chicken Fried Rice. Loved all three, and they had generous amount of meat and egg - I'd be happy with that fried rice as a main. We also had roasted plantains, which could work as an appetizer or dessert, and the China Latina egg rolls (amazing, crispy with a special blend of meat including chorizo... really wanted a second round but had too much food coming!) We didn't need more food but topped it off with Guava & Cheese Pastries ... delicate flaky pastry with Guava jam and cream cheese, dusted with powdered sugar, a perfect finish. Setting is casual, order at counter. The walls are covered in quotes revealing a passion for food, and after eating there is was clear, the passion is genuine!
Asian+Latin fusion cuisine prepared from scratch. The elevated plating and unique flavors defy the humble location. A hidden gem for sure.
Lovely friendly staff, does such good fusion of cultures. Fried rice was soft fragrant with all treats mixed in. The Barbecue plate was so good with the rice. Egg rolls with meat. It was all so good. Can't wait to go back before we go home. More food I want to try. Chef Beni was charming and fun to talk with. We'll be back.
I came across with this restaurant looking for something to eat that's close to my work place, y encontré oro!! Thi is a place that will make you feel like home. Chef Beni and Maria were very charming and welcoming, the food was AMAZING, and the story behind the place made me fall in-love with it. I would give it 10 stars if I could.I was too hungry to take a picture of the food :(
"And on the 5 Millionth Day, God created Chef Beni and China Latina. And it was good".You can tell the food is cooked with such love and passion. The flavors are divine and we absolutely loved it. Even more, Chef Beni and the women at the front of the house (apologies for not catching a name!) are incredibly nice and you can tell how much pride they have in their work - as they should! We look forward to coming back!
