Was anticipating eating there again, but was CLOSED. Other buffets are open, but not at the Rio. Was disappointed and had to eat more expensively in the Casino. No where did it say on the Rio website the buffet was closed.
Never got in. Despite what Google and all the buffets own advertising claims, it was closed the Saturday night at 5 when we got there. Without explanation, advisory or excuse. The announcement Carnival World was open was the whole reason we made this trip from Arizona. THE reason. Yet it wasn't until we slugged our way through Sat. night Vegas traffic and squeeze our way to the front entrance do we find ropes tied up at the front entrance. Our last reason to visit the Rio: gone. Probably my last reason to visit this sorry lie of a town. Stay away. This buffet will completely let you and your family down and won't care.
I went for my birthday, but I think I went on the wrong night after reading these reviews. My experience and food was sub par. Desserts were good though.
A shame that this one is closed, but I believe it will be back up soon! It ranks high on the list as far as buffets go with a great selection of everything you could desire and chefs at each station to carve for you and make omelets, etc. The ?? dessert section was to die for. But the most important thing of all is that it wasn't overpriced like so many of our others $$$$. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner here many times and highly recommend them all day long.❤️❤️❤️
Carnival World Buffet is ideal for family gatherings. Its casual, comfortable atmosphere also loosens up the mood for business meetings. If you’re wondering about the best seat in the house, who can argue with the tables by the dessert station? Caesars Rewards Diamond members have front-of-line access, along with a private dining room featuring comfortable banquettes, serene water features and dramatic lighting.Add unlimited draft beer and house wine for $13 or enjoy our all you care to drink weekend champagne brunch. Fountain drinks and juices are complimentary.
Look like a very nice place was not open when I reserved my room I was told it was open ?
Any time I'm in Vegas, I make it a point to come here once. One of the best buffets in Las Vegas. Always great food and SO much selection!!!
Love this buffet. Compared to many Vegas buffets it's not as elegant or fanciful but it really is a solid buffet and well-worth the price. I'd say it's more of what you'd see as a high-end, plentiful option buffet outside the unique world of Vegas Strip buffets. They have so many options here and the seating is very comfortable - it's the kind of buffet where you can enjoy a good seat for a while instead of feeling as though you're in an assembly line being rushed out like some of the other more well-known ones in the center of the Strip.
Atmosphere is very pleasant...the food is fresh tasting. The advertisement for variety of dishes and seafood is VERY MISLEADING.
Has a modest selection. Overall everything was basically just ok. Nothing really stood out as great or even good. For what you pay there are many many better options in Vegas. Definitely overpriced. The $13 “all you can drink” was only domestic beer, and only two choices or 2 choices of wine. But the bartender was awesome and made sure I got my money’s worth! His service made my review 1 star higher
