On a business trip to Las Vegas, I was staying at The Venetian, where the shops are, I happened to see Boddy Balastro's restaurant and Carlo's Bakery is across from it, I've been a fan of Boddy's for many years and I saw my great opportunity to try the Bakery that I had seen on TV for years, I was completely disappointed, the treatment of the people who work there is horrible, they do not give you a single smile, they make you feel like you are in the place and you should abandon it as soon as possible, buy some cheesecake cannoli, which were excessively doughy, the cookies that were on top of it were completely soft, I definitely did not have a good experience, taking into account the expectations I had as a fan of Buddy ?

My mom watches the show so she wanted to come here on 7/8/22 and it did not disappoint! We got the cannoli which was delicious. We also got the lobster tail which our whole party enjoyed, and we got the cheesecake which was amazing! The service was great and I will definitely be coming back here when I go to Vegas!!

This is worth a stop for dessert. We opted for the chocolate fudge and funfetti cake based on the recommendation of the girl behind the counter. We really enjoyed the cake- not too overly sweet and very moist. I think my only complaint was that it was really crumble-y. It hit the spot after dinner. We opted to bring it back to the room to eat because there aren't any tables outside the bakery to enjoy them.

My kids were so excited to visit the bakery from the cake boss show that they love. However, the goods we tried (which were quite a few) were just ok and not up to the quality of goods we get at our local Italian bakery at home. As with everything in Vegas, there is a hefty price tag, They were very good at managing the crowd, ordering process and pick up process.

Very sad about my order with them. I ordered the 2 tier cake for my daughters first birthday party, & it looked AMAZING. However, it just didn’t taste very good. There was so much frosting, the cake itself had a very nice, very faint, taste, however it was overpowered by the frosting. We left this out in the fridge for 3 days, & set it out 5 hours before serving & it still was frozen by the time we tried to serve it. We even tried to put it in the sun for an hour & it was still frozen. (70 degree weather). It was overall disappointing… I had high hopes but it just didn’t deliver. It still looked good though so that was a plus.

The prepackaged items are overpriced and not very good. I’ve had much better cake and cookies at local bakeries where I’m from for much cheaper that were not old and dry. The cupcake we got was dry and the frosting had the texture of play dough as well. However, the pastries that are not prepackaged were delicious. I would definitely come back for the lobster tails and the jelly donut we got. I was a bit disappointed in the original cannoli, but that is more of a personal preference thing than a quality issue.

It’s a nice bakery. I don’t know why their rating is poor. Don’t judge by the rating, and give them a try. We took out some coffee and breakfast. The coffee was basic. The savoury ham and cheese croissant was excellent to start the day, followed by the chocolate croissant, lobster tail and the cannoli. We loved all of them, however, the cannoli was best in the lot.

The salted caramel claw was so flaky and tasty. Cannoli was also delicious. Good customer service with fast check out. Love to see that you can see staff bake the delicious treats. All the decor and colors made me feel like I was a child in a candy store.

1 star for the rainbow cake. The hype is not there at all, it’s dry and box cake mix tastes better. The cannoli on the other hand was yummy and filled with delicious creamy filling might taste better if you get it freshly made. Be mindful that place should not be compared to a regular bakery.. I feel like it’s more of a place to come based on hype due to the show cake boss so the quantity they put out is really risking the quality.

Very basic pastries. We were very excited to try The Cake Boss bakery but it was disappointing. As I wrote in the review about his restaurant, due to his popularity they very busy and cater to quantity rather than quality.I've been to better bakeries, don't waste your time in the long lines or your money. My SO tried a cupcake and had the cannoli cheesecake, they are gluten free so no crust, my favorite part.I will not return.
