First time eating here. By far. The BEST chicken wing place I've EVER had the pleasure of trying out. How good was this place? I tried kobe beef for the first time on the same day, and the wings are the highlight of the day.
My wife was deep into an afternoon of watching K-Dramas so naturally started craving chicken wings. Bonchon had the quickest delivery time so ordered the XL Family Meal and an order of Bulgogi. The XL meal includes 12 wings and 6 drumsticks plus 2 (double-portioned) sides and a choice of rice (white or fried) so I questioned if it would be enough. Nothing worse than not being able to eat to the point of bursting.I ordered through Uber Eats and the biggest shocker was at how crispy the chicken was. My biggest gripe with any delivery service is that things that are meant to be crispy inevitably end up soggy by the time it reaches you. Maybe the chicken is triple-fried? But the chicken itself was very juicy and tender - so excellent! Everything was packaged neatly and with care so 5 stars for this too.We ordered the fried rice which has a mildly sweet flavor to it. Maybe it's intentional to balance out the spiciness of the wings? I liked it but just worth noting. The Bulgogi was tender and seasoned well but I wish the portion was larger. It comes with rice and is priced at $20.64 on Uber Eats; I don't know if this would be enough to stand alone as a meal for an average adult. *I eat a lot and also understand prices of ribeye have been on the rise so this issue could just be a me issue.*All in all, very happy with Bonchon and it's on our rotation list now!
Best Korean Chicken ever!!! The half and half wings are to die for.. sooo spicy!! The taste of everything was amazing. The service was very attentive. My favorite is the house fried rice !! I totally recommend!!
YES! This is it, tasty food quality ingredients. They DO NOT over season, they let the quality ingredients speak for themselves.The staff are well versed on the history of the menu and know what goes in the dishes. Friendly folks here helping you as soon as you walk in.
Food was amazing. Extra crispy chicken and garlic fries. Overall very happy with the food.
Ordered boneless chicken plain and spicy half and half online for kids and myself. Came back home and opened the package and shocked. They were super dried and each piece felt like biting a rock. Spicy one was a joke. Completely dried up. I threw the whole package away. Their chicken is not cheap with yucky taste. Just go to bbq chicken or two zone or chongro chicken
Cashier was very disingenuous - when I told her the food was not the same (bad) as other bonchons, she said “it’s different place to place.” Defeating the purpose of franchises. She also got the order wrong and lied when we asked her opinion on which item was better. She just selected the more expensive one. Later her coworker apologized to us and disclosed that she was actually new. I won’t be coming back. Good luck guys.
Chicken wings and onion rings are simply awesome!! I gave it 4 stars because the drumsticks aren't all that....stick with the wings. I will absolutely 100% return to this place
