Battista’s was recommended by someone that goes here every time they go to Las Vegas so we thought we would give it a try. The prices are average to high depending on what you get and all meals include white or red wine, salad or soup, garlic bread and a cappuccino after dinner. We got lasagna, eggplant parmigiana, and cannelloni. The meat sauce on the lasagna did not have a flavorful taste. It was just kind of bland. The eggplant looked good and he did enjoy it. The cannelloni was disappointing as well. We are not sorry we checked it out. The decor is interesting and they have some great photos on the walls but it won’t be a regular for us.
Everything was great! Would recommend to everyone to go to!
We have been to Vegas many times and kept wanting to come. We finally did and we were not disappointed!!! The food was amazing & outstanding service!! Loved loved loved the cappuccino they served at the end of the meal!! We will for sure be back!!

First let me start off with a compliment. Eric and Diego were spectacular servers. There are no complaints there. I very rarely leave bad or negative reviews. However, in this case, Battistaâs Hole in the Wall earned the review that Iâm about to give. I have not been there since the 1980s and was very much looking forward to it. That did not last long. We started out with a Salad and Minestrone Soup. The salad was good, no complaints. However the soup was brought to the table barely warm and absolutely tasteless and watery. Probably one of the worst minestrone soups that Iâve ever tasted. Next the Chicken Marsala. It was very tough, tasteless and virtually inedible. It was not served hot, it was mildly warm at best. The green beans were the highlight of this dish. Even the side of pasta that came with it was not up to, what I would describe as, a safe temperature. In fact letâs make this clear right now. I do not believe that any of the dishes that were served to us were served at a safe temperature of 140°. Next on the list was the Linguine and White Clam Sauce. The chopped clams were definitely out of a can. They were tough, chewy and had the aluminum taste of the can. The clams in the shell were probably fresh, yet over cooked and rubbery. The sauce was not your traditional white clam sauce. The dish was not palatable. I left 90% of it on the table. And again it was served barely warm. Such a disappointment. I ordered a side of Meatballs. To little meat and too many bread crumbs. Terrible. And of course they came barely warm. This is the common theme, food served at dangerously low temperatures. Finally the highlight of the night was the Capuchino. It was FANTASTIC. But we come to Italian Restaurants for the food not the coffee. I cannot give Battistaâs a favorable review. This restaurant earned a very poor review. Go to Pieroâs, The Bootlegger, Ferraroâs or Capoâs. By the way, this was not only my opinion but the opinion of my guest as well.
