After reading some of the reviews on TripAdvisor I wasn't sure what to expect however my wife and I were pleasantly surprised The room was modern super clean and we were so happy. We stayed for 12 nights in June 2022 and our main concern was housekeeping well it wasn't a problem all you need to do is speak to reception and book your room in for a clean the following day and your room was cleaned by friendly hard working housekeeping ladies that did not cut corners and serviced our room to a 5 star level even the $1.99 day housekeeping gratuity charge charged to our account I was more than happy to tip housekeeping as they work so hard.
In Las Vegas for two nights, we booked in this historic hotel that is the Sahara. The promise of a mythical four star near a bright and festive Stip without moderation. What was my disappointment... To put it simply, it was a disaster, almost nothing was right. Let's start with the positive because it will be the shortest: the shower. Nothing to say, not very luxurious but impeccable and warm, as I like them. Apart from my little pet peeve, I am obliged to list the problems as they are so numerous... - As soon as we arrived, the smoke detector kept beeping constantly, the noise being unbearable. An agent came to repair it in the following hours but it still disturbed our arrival - We continue for the Oscar of the room with the most broken objects: the lamp of the office was in crumbs followed by the iron which was defective. - The door of the bathroom did not close correctly. Being on vacation with a "friend", the latter was able to rinse his eye without any worries. - After a tiring day the next day, our room was not done. This is unacceptable for an establishment of this reputation. - Finally, the "ponpon on the Garonne", we were awakened by noises of work at 8:30 am. These did not stop until the afternoon. The funniest part of this story? We were told on the phone that we had been upgraded! I put a star for my small shower, the rest : RUN AWAY.
Had a really nice stay for my birthday I stayed there for four nights it was extremely pleasure boat the room with extremely comfortable the gas and staff are really nice wanna stay again. Nice food and nice location. The elegance and the variety of food and drink options were absolutely great the front desk were able to help me get into my room for my third party overbooked me with fees
Hubby and I stayed here on a recent trip to Vegas, mostly because of where it was situated on the strip. Easy to take the monorail. Our room was recently renovated, but it almost felt bare like it was missing furniture. The shower has two shower heads which was nice, but there was no place to hang your towels. The plugs on my side of the bed didn’t work, some of the elevator button didn’t work. The trash can that was outside the elevator was overflowing with trash for multiple days. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless it was out of convenience.
Sahara like you've never seen. Upscale, newly remodeled, attentive staff (in all gaming, hotel, and entertainment service) made for the most incredible overnight stay I've experienced in all my stays in Vegas. I had a great time.
Was comped to the VIP section and the room accommodations were great. The room was very quiet and I did not hear others coming or going rom nearby rooms. Loved the large bathroom and the large shower. Very easy Check-in and Check-out.
My son is currently staying at this unfriendly ? hotel. I booked his trip and forgot to add the resort fees. When he arrived today 7/16-2022 . I asked if I could give them my credit card and I was told I had written notice and it would take 72 hours. Then I ask if he brought a Visa card to add money , would that be acceptable and they said no. I tried asking for a manager but someone was around. He finally got a room after send him money on his cash app and this is the room they gave him. Never again!!!!
Overflow from The Strat. Avoid this at all costs. Phone calls to Guest Services are never answered and the bell staff are non-existent. We were offered a complimentary 2-night stay. We checked out after one night and paid out of pocket at another property.
I’ll start with the positives – it was a quick, easy drive to an event we were attending at World Market Center. The monorail on property was conveniently located and a good way to get to the rest of the strip. (Getting back was another issue, as the monorail stations were difficult to find at other properties.) Here’s the rest – stayed in the Marra Tower, room was not clean upon check-in;had to wipe everything down with bleach wipes myself. Sheets, pillowcases and towels were stained and dirty. Got attitude when I called down for new ones and then they were just dropped off for me to change. You pay a daily housekeeping fee, but don’t get housekeeping service. We stayed for 5 nights and got attitude when I asked for fresh towels. Expect a long wait for elevators –one was always broken. Told by a security team member to “just use the stairs;” we were on the 21st floor and had all our stuff with us. Room was super bright all night long which made sleeping difficult – they have only cheap blinds as window coverings, no blackout curtains. As we were walking to the monorail, we discovered that they just leave pallets of the free in-room water out in direct sunlight in 110 degree heat, leaching toxins into the water. The also had bins of what looked like clean and ready towels out there- no wonder ours were stained and dirty. All ages pool area was really dirty; adults only pool was super crowded and you have to pay for any chairs in the shade. We will not be staying here again.
Super fun experience at the pool! The music was jumping (until the DJ left ?). The drinks are good & the food is actually really good. Staff is super helpful & friendly.
