Small and nice place tons of beer choices, no smoking so that's nice! Also there are many good choices on the menu. Eddie spaghetti Pizza (picture)was a good choice loved it and very big so bring an appetite
The beer battered fish n chips was overpriced for $16. The fish tasted raw. Seemed like raw fish tossed in oil to soak up with absolutely no seasoning. Order at your own risk but I can tell you that it’s not worth it. It was a waste of my $ that I wish I could get back. No chips, so not sure what’s chips in the order. I got a side of sweet potato fries. I’m giving one star for the sweet potato fries. Do better with your fish menu!
We go on Thursday’s for Rock n Roll Bingo and the staff is always extremely nice, attentive, funny, and a joy to be around. Excellent service and the food is bomb! Just an appetizer of nachos will have you full! Plus the place is also very clean and tidy. Always a great time here!
50+ beers on tap. Well-curated selection to meet any taste. Awesome food menu, massive burgers, lots of you share applies. Try my favorite one the fried cheese curds. Service was fast and attentive. Great overall experience.
We went in for dinner and some drinks. The sandwich and the salad both tasted gross and funky. Our server barely checked on us and it wasn’t even busy . Had to wait almost an hour between drinks just for her to look at us and had to get her attention from talking just for our check. More then likely won’t be coming back. We still tipped her good tho.
This is the closest bar to my hotel so it is inevitable I'd come here. And as it turned out, more than once. What makes Aces and Ales stand out is the staff. The choice of craft ales is pretty good as is the food. Some of the beers have ABV up in the double figures, and most are higher than 6. Being a steady type, I can highly recommend a local brew named after the street it sits on, Tenaya, a stout ale that comes in at a steady 5.8 abv. Play safe beer fans.
Skyler let me tell you she is the best bartender in the east side she always has a happy face no matter how busy she is she always on her a game multitasking and keeping everyone happy love skyler time ! Best best best place
Pretty good beer selection. Not many porters and stouts though. The number system is a great idea! Bartender was cool as well. Screamy kid on the other side, kinda detracted from my time. I But hey, what can ya do? I'd surely go back for a game or something.
4 1/2 stars — This is the actual go-to bar-restaurant in this neighborhood. Great beer onion rings. Yummy parmesan fries. Happy hour is usually like $2 off apps.
I really like this bar, been coming here for awhile, love that they have 50 beers on tap & always cycling thru different types of beers & breweries from all over, not just the typical stuff every place has. Bartenders & servers are always great. My only complaint... the beers just arent quite cold enough, really wish they would do something about that...
