the broth of the ramen was really good. I had the tonkontsu. the pork however wasn't seasoned. the ramen didn't seem freshly made like most ramen places I'm used to at authentic ramen paces across the country, however it was still good. overall not bad.
Stopped by here for lunch today. It was our first time visiting Umai. My husband got ramen and I got the shashu pork fried rice. They put 3 very thin pieces of meat in his ramen and my fried rice had 5 very tiny pieces of pork in it. Literally chopped pieces of pork. We had to pay extra for more meat. Not worth what they charge at all. Oh and to top it off, the waitress took the napkins left on our table and put them back in the stack on their counter. Absolutely disgusting! Makes us wonder what else they are doing behind the scenes to cut costs. We really wanted to like this place because we live 5 miles away and frequent the area, but we will not be going back. Ramen Sora and Fukumimi blow this place away.

If I could've given one star I would’ve. We came in and sat and everything was good until we ordered food. My boyfriends drink wasn’t refilled until he specifically called the waiter over to do so. The food came out fast but we quickly realized it was because the meat was cold, the noodles were undercooked, and the broth was cold as well. The royal California roll was good but you can’t really mess up sushi too badly. The service was awful and the atmosphere was as well. I wouldn’t recommend this to my enemies.
1st time here and it was delicious. I going to give it a second try to make a final destination for all my Ramen needs. The Curry over noodles was not my jam so next time it will go over rice. Prices were about right. 3 stars for now as average but next time I will give my final review rating.

Oh my GOD that's good. I love to cook with black garlic, but these guys REALLY know what they're doing. That was amazing. I was totally exhausted when I got here; that and a small Kirin has me completely recharged.
Amazing service, great atmosphere, authentic food. It's a small, cute, comfy place for a quick but delicious meal.
