Been coming for the past month and everything is usually pretty good. The portions and quality of the food is great.Todays visit was disappointing due to the lack of service and inattentive staff. Ordered the salad and received it without dressing so when I approached the counter where there were 7 employees and I was ignored for a minute or so while they had there backs to me or in personal conversations with their fellow coworkers. Finally, the one young gentleman that appeared to be doing all the work noticed me and gave me my dressing.Lastly, I noticed most of the tables were left dirty and no one was attending to the dining room.
This was a good experience. My wife had lamb souvlaki, and I had a gyro plate. Both were served with starter Greek salad. Plates arrived warm and tasty with meat, rice pilaf, and 2 pieces of fresh warm pita bread with tzatziki. Portions were well cooked, and generous helpings. We felt there was great value for money. It’s not fast food, but you can order takeout on site or ahead of time. We placed our order at the counter and our food was brought to the table. Sofas were self service. The restaurant was clean and orderly. We will definitely go back next time in Las Vegas.
Amazing!!! Got their bowl with salmon on top, and while I was a little suspicious of eating salmon in a landlocked state, it was literally the best grilled salmon I've ever had. I don't know which incredible person made it but they had the best crisp on the salmon while still keeping it juicy on the inside. Hummus and spanikopita were amazing as well. Staff were also super friendly and patient as they answered questions about the menu. 10/10 recommend!
Decided to try the new location on St. Rose. Friendly staff, fresh food, excellent flavor. Try the feta fries. Delicious. Had the salad, hummus and Gryo as well. Definitely will be going back.
Location is good, sometimes we ask for extra feta on the fries (totally willing to pay for the extra) but it gets missed. No big deal. Ty
The Great Greek is excellent. Great gyros, great soups, great fries. I always get the Avgolomano soup (lemony soup with rice) and a Great Greek Beef and Lamb gyro. Pitas are soft and delicious too.
First time at The Great Greek. Shrimp skewers and fries. Absolutely delish. Will come again!Edit: months later this is still one of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently great. Once, we just went and both ordered their large French fries and nothing else. They are the best French fries around. Even their little side salads are good.
First time coming here with my husband. I am not impressed with how they prepare the meal. My husband asked for well-done gyro skewers and it was served to him as medium-rare. The rice and falafel are too salty. We are never going back to this place. We wasted our money dining in.
I really like their food and have recommended them to others; however, I came back in and noticed the price of my favorite dish increased to $17. There is no change to how it is served. For the same price this fast-food place is charging, you can go to a restaurant and get steak or prime rib.I don't eat the salad it comes with and my friend said the lettuce wasn't washed and she got sick from eating the salad.
Over $50 on food for three people and not one tzatziki sauce. Picture of platter online shows with sauce again not a single one for three plates. I'll be sticking with Yanni's Greek from now on. Better meat and they give you sauce!!
