Rubio's one of my long time favorites... in the 90's and early 2000's. Not so much anymore; this particular store is pretty run down. They have packing tape holding molding in place around the tables. The tables are sticky, not dirty sticky, but sticky like tape. The floors are old and dirty, walls and overall store appeal is run down. The food? Meh. What was once outstanding is now below average. The cost? $12 for a burrito and 25 tortilla chips? Yikes! The employees, like the walking dead? Pretty much everyone in the store hated being there. Overall, this store in Henderson has long passed its peak. Spend your money someplace else. 2.6 stars.
I'm at frontier for a late lunch, I'm going to say I was disappointed. I had the fish tacos especially, formerly known as the pesky combo, and the fish just looked like it was fried a week ago, the outside was dry, perhaps a little burnt even. Extremely disappointed, Rubio's has been my only fish taco go to place since it started in San diego. Not sure I will ever go back there again.
My wife and I have eaten at similar restaurants (i.e. Qdoba, Chipotle, Azteca, etc.) and this was by far the best. Really tasty, the seafood was perfectly prepared and the portions were just right. Pleasant staff...made us travelers feel at home.
Judy was really friendly and helpful at the register. The fish tacos here are amazing. I lathered my tacos in the green sauce and they were delicious. Side of beans had a unique tasty flavor. Vanilla coke in the dispensary. Highly recommend
3rd time in a row... Hot CRISPY tacos... Girls were polite and helpful and very nice... Good management goes a long way .. thank you
This rubios before 1pm is very empty so ordering there and getting the food is fast.Food has been good so far. They maintain a clean environment every time I have been there.
great lobster tacos! fabulous Mahi Mahi tacos! chips and beans are great. sorry, no pic because we ate too fast lol
Service was slow, floor wasn't clean, bathrooms were locked, food was unusually bland, asked for extra limes and were ignored (had to ask twice). Overall not impressed. Sad because I just moved from Kentucky back to Vegas and haven't had Rubios for a long time. It might be a long time before I eat here again.
They were having a special on langostino lobster items so I ordered a regular soft taco ($6) and a burrito ($12, plus $4 for double meat). Burrito was very good and I enjoyed it. Taco had some kind of super spicy sauce on it and I could not eat it.
Fresh ingredients, great shrimp! Love the gourmet shrimp tacos! They are so good! Don't for get the citrus rice and churros....yum
