I got the cold poached artichoke with balsamic and the lasagna. It was delicious! Our friends loved their pasta dishes also. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent food and service. Would definitely return. Portion sizes were good. But the bruschetta was a small portion for price but still fresh and good.

The food was probably average but at the end of the meal we tried to pay with a gift card and the waitress couldnt figure out how to run it. We verified there was money on it for her but she still couldnt figure it out. The manager suggested we take the card to another restaurant where they know how to use gift cards.....I suggest you also take her advice and go somewhere else.

Our favorite little secret tucked away in suburbia. All the pastas are super, and the wine selection decent. Service can be mixed, sometimes they ignore ore you, sometimes attentive, but if you want good pasta this is the place!

We've been in search of great Italian food since moving to Henderson from New York 5 years ago. After reading the great reviews we decided to try the Pasta Shop. It is a fairly small place, decorated with tons of modern art for sale. It wasn't very crowded on a Sunday early evening. However, I could see a problem when they are busy. The table behind us was so close that I don't think a person could have been seated behind me without our chairs touching. We were greeted immediately by a friendly young lady who offered us water and brought bread. The first sign of a great Italian restaurant is good bread. This should have been a warning sign that we were in for a less than stellar meal. The bread looked like a soggy ciabatta roll topped with cheese and warmed a bit. It had no flavor, and the texture was limp as if it was microwaved or just warmed so quickly it did not have a crisp crust. The bottom of the bread had a coating of white flour that made it taste undercooked.I asked for a recommendation and she said the baked rigatoni was the way to go. So I ordered it with chopped meatballs. It's supposed to have 4 cheeses and come in a rose sauce. My husband ordered the classic vegan option. This is the description copy/pasted from their website "Tomato sauce, vegan meatballs, one spicy sausage, fresh basil." Let's start with that. He noticed there was no sausage in the dish. We pointed it out and she said "it's either meatballs OR sausage, not both. Then she quickly scooted away before we could say anything else. Well, if there is a typo on the menu, then why wasn't he offered the choice when we ordered? The tomato sauce was not very flavorful and the meatballs had no flavor at all. Now on to the baked rigatoni. The dish was so hot I could not even taste it for over 10 minutes without burning my mouth. Next I could not detect 4 cheeses in the dish, just mozzarella. The meatballs mixed in had an odd texture like they had been steamed and not sautéed before being added to the dish. The sauce was flat, with little flavor other than tasting of cream. We would have liked some grated cheese but none was offered. I tried to get her attention several times but it seemed she was the only server working and by the time she came over to us again, we were just ready to leave. I ate very little of my rigatoni and since we got such a dismissive answer about the vegan dish we just decided to get the check and leave.$50 for two underwhelming meals and dismissive service is just not our idea of a great evening out. And before the owner mentions we should have pointed out our issues while in the restaurant, we tried and were blown off. We shouldn't have to get up from our table to track the server down, get told we were wrong about our order and then expect them to be responsive about our other issues in our meal.

My husband and I got very very sick from this restaurant. The seafood was over cooked and fishy on two of the dishes. Another one of the dishes was undercooked and appear to have raw eggs in it. We were so disappointed as we order it for a birthday dinner :(. Also the portion sizes were very small. But I’m glad they were cause we could of been hospitalized if we received full portions.

We enjoyed it very much. The pasta was delicious all around. Only complaint was the buratta was not good. It was kind of mushy there was no solid skin.

Although we've enjoyed many delicious meals here over the past years, our recent dinner was beyond disappointing. I had my all-time favorite, Saffron Shrimp ... the squid pasta was one big starchy glob, the sauce was white (where was the saffron???) and absolutely tasteless, the five shrimp were over-cooked. My husband had Artisan Pasta Anne and stated it was also tasteless. I'm no longer confident recommending this restaurant and fear we shall not return. So disappointed.

Disappointing only been here to pick up food for delivery via GrubHub. Always wanted to try it as it was busy and I can confirm I will not nasty rude employees. My pickup order was not ready and the waitress said "if you would go wait outside that would be great" then come back in. Is there any reason I could not stay I the restaurant? I think the owners/workers must be snobs I won't be returning to dine in/pick up To-GO orders will also tell my friends agce the negative experience to not eat here. Much other nicer restaurants in Green Valley area and friendly. I would rate -5 if I could

Balsamic vinaigrette, now that's a new way of eating an artichoke. Then you dip your complimentary cheesy-garlic bread in the oil and vinegar. Thrifty! I had squid ink pasta for the first time in my life here. I've seen it on t.v. so.many times and its served in a creamy saffron sauce (memo to the business: the shrimp was over cooked). Tik Tok features some excellent videos on their hand made pastas. A nice large list for desserts, I had the pistachio ricotta cake, a dreamy, authentic slice of goodness.
