Had an early dinner here. Good service as we three were only ones eating on patio at 4pm. Great pasta. We don't drink wine, so only had water. Great Gnocchi. No complaints.
We were a family of four wanting to try this restaurant as it had fairly good reviews. When the waiter asked us if we wanted regular of bubbly water, we said water with no bubbles. Out came a large bottle of water. We did not check our bill(our fault) but we were charged for 2 bottles when we only had one. Fifteen dollars for one bottle or water received is a bit outlandish!! The sangria was full of ice and barely had any taste. Food while prepared nicely ran on the expensive side for small portions. Service was a bit rushed.
The evening was beautiful and the service was even better. We enjoyed our dining with a view of the lake and delicious wonderful wine. The food was authentic Italian and we will make the trip from the city while visiting again.
Wonderful selection of house made pasta dishes! Difficult to select just one item among all the pages of entrees, thankfully our very polite and well versed waiter knew the right suggestions to go along with the specials that were offered. . . Lovely atmosphere, make your reservations early to secure the outdoor tables that include a pretty lake view. They do get pretty busy! . . Definitely leave room for dessert! If you are a fan of tiramisu you must try the strawberry... fresh made lady fingers and cream, seconds please!
Our Family was there for dinner during the 4th if July Holiday week. Regardless of COVID, there was no rules being followed there. Upon arrival, we were ushered towards the back of the restaurant and sat in a round table big enough for a family of 6. Our server, Gaspare, advised us that we would not be able to occupy the empty seats due to COVID and did not allow us to practice our social distancing at the table. He suggested that we all sit close together without any seats in between us. During our meal, he brought our EXPIRED sparkling water and served it to us and told us that we can keep the rest of the bottles on our table in case we got thirsty and wanted more. That is when we analyzed the bottle and noticed the expiration date. Once the food came, the server left and let us enjoy our meal. The food was good but not great. After our meal, the server brought us our bill and I noticed that there was a MANDATORY 20% gratuity added on top of our $220 food bill. I asked our server why this was imposed and he said that he did not know and that it was a charge that the Owner requested to be added to every bill. At first I asked for it to be removed as the customer service was not even worth 10% of the bill. They made a big deal about it and other patrons soon realized what was going on since they too received the bill around the same time. I asked why it was not disclosed upfront and the server just told me that the Owner did not want to let us know ahead of time and that was the policy there. After several minutes, I ended up just paying the bill with the MANDATORY gratuity and left as I noticed other patrons starting to complain. I would not recommend dining here if you are NOT Ok with paying an additional 20% in MANDATORY UNDISCLOSED FEES. The food was good but not great and not worth the extra $44 in Mandatory Tip.
This place was amazing! Came during COVID. All the staff were wearing masks. Menus were sanitized in between people. The place was very clean. Food was so good. I had the cannelloni. The sauce was so flavorful. Would definitely come here again.
Fabulous Food and Impeccable Service... WOW... We had the special it was House-made Parpadelle with Lobster and Tiger Shrimp...
This was extremely overpriced for subpar takeout - my kids make better pizza with way more flavor at home. The other dishes were eatable but zero to write home about. Didn’t even get utensils.
Nothing to my knowledge - food was bland and flavorless for an exceptionally overpriced tab.
My wife and I were at Luna Rosa Saturday evening. We ordered the Flounder Limone. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT. The roasted potatoes and the vegetables were done perfectly and the fish was wonderful.
