We have tried dozens of local restaurants and this is the first unappetizing one. First they served cold, stale bread. The server got my order wrong. There was a weird tasteless, chewy substance that she identified as pancetta. Then the pasta was almost uncooked. The server declared they always serve their pasta Al dente. When I have to saw into pasta with a knife, that’s not ideal. The prices were high for the low quantity of food, and elevated cost can’t be attributed to location. This place is WAY off the Strip. What a disappointment!
Everything was OK. A bit slow to get service at first but normal sit-down restaurant wait after ordering. Bread and vodkas sauce were decent. But 3 stars on food, max. Not bad not great, just ok.
Never again. Crab Cakes mushy,Chicken Marseille thick and greasy. Had to flag our server for beverages. While we were seated at the bar we were able to see the mismanaged kitchen. Lack of communication and the food comes out of a bag. I'll stick to the Raiders Bar and Grill.
Limited staff like everywhere. I ordered chicken picaata. Ive never had it served with sautéed onions! Also the chicken was not thin it was 2 chicken breast that were not pounded out. More of a brown sauce with capers, not the normal lemon white wine with capers. It was over cooked slightly. It also didn't come with anything! I had to order a vegetable on the side. Id never order it again. My husband had the linguine and white clay sauce which he loved. Also if you want bread, ask for bread from the steakhouse. No extra charge and much better.
To begin with, we stood at the front by the "wait to be seated" sign for about 10 minutes, while multiple employees walked past us before anyone offered to seat us. It took the waiter over 5 minutes to get over there and take a drink order. Not he, nor half the other staff even knew what the soup of the day was. They all took guesses until someone in the kitchen finally told them. Mind you, this place is very small and they still had 6 waiters working, so no understaffing issue. We sat at the bar, so we could see everything going on in the kitchen. I wish I did not. I watched as the "cooks" took pasta out multiple times, set it in little tin plates and let it sit there for 20+ minutes in some cases and then use it in orders. You are in full view of customers, and you do something you shouldn't be doing in a closed kitchen. Every order that came in seemed to cause mass confusion among all 4 cooks. Leading to lots of blank stares, squinting, and spinning in circles. About 45 minutes in, we saw when our order began, and knew right then we made a mistake to have waited. I ordered veal piccata and I watched as they floured, placed the veal in the pan, then used a squeeze bottle of premade sauce to completely drown the veal, then poured wine straight on top about 5 seconds before taking it off the heat. Then it sat there as they made the linguine with clams my friend ordered, which was also a mess from the clam cooking (the pot overboiled and stayed that way for like 5 minutes, to the confusion over what pasta it went with. Mine showed up cold, with a congealed, floury paste on the veal and all over the plate. The linguine with clams may as well have been a soup. The sauce was complete thin liquid and came to the top of the bowl. The clams were in the shell, or were supposed to be at least. 75% of the shells were empty. Probably because they opened, detached from the shell and got washed out by the overflowing pot mentioned earlier. A woman at the table behind us had ordered the linguine with clams as well, and it looked nothing like ours. Seemed to be sauced correctly. I felt as I sat there that every single person in that kitchen must have been on their first day ever working in a kitchen. Even the guy cutting cheese for salads seemed to be struggling. Not even the bread was good. When we brough up the state of our food, we just got a half hearted "sorry". We weren't about to wait for replacements after that disaster showed up after such a long wait. It was a mess from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out. Whoever runs this restaurant should be embarrassed. Such a small pasta bar is meant to be able to pump out quick, consistent food. Especially with that much staff on hand. No chance I'd ever go back to this place again. I will stick to Anthony's steak house whenever I'm out at the M.
Excellent modern and upscale restaurant located within M Resort.Pleasant atmosphere.Staff is very attentive and in sync with clients needsQuick service.Excellent food. And prices are also very good.I came for Bellagio to M report to see what is was all about, pleasantly surprised. Had the oxtail ragu and branzino. Very tasty and price point is pretty good for upscale casino restaurants. I’d come back again. Steamed clams app was alright.
They bring bread to your table some kind of food Kasha bread? Which you dip in balsamic vinegar and olive oil. We had a Mediterranean pizza, which was delicious! And we shared a pasta dish that had vegetables in it and slices of garlic. I don't like garlic, but my dinner companion does and she loved it.
Marinelli's Pasta Bar is surprisingly affordable, the atmosphere is great and the service was awesome Alex was F'ing great give that man a raise drinks were always full very pleasant person to deal with. Thanks Alex you're great!
We had a good experience at this restaurant. Service is excellent and very nice atmosphere. I had the chicken parmesan and it was excellent. My only negative was that it had too much garlic which I don't care for. It would appeal to one who liked garlic go.
