We had great service and food from Lucky Penny. We were greeted every morning by the friendly and always smiling Mai Maj. our server Sabrina was awesome. She provided us fantastic friendly service and we never had to ask for anything. She is definitely on top of her game! Food was very good although quite pricey for a casino cafe. It doesn’t seem they have the great specials they used to.

Ilda was warm friendly and attentive. What a fantastic time, 3 times we visited. Haha. Food was beautiful presentation and delicious. My tongue danced in my mouth with the flavors and textures of chilequilles( pictured). Definitely a hidden gem of friendliness and good food. The baked good are amazing as well, fresh, and crispy or crunchy, if has nuts.Worth the visit and will definitely be back.

Esmeralda was awful, we have been there every week but this time the service was awful! Took 10 minutes to get our drinks, then we didn't have forks, we get our food from someone else, my husband has a steak with no steak knive,, my biscuits and gravy is coagulated and cold, she brings new food, which looks fresh and isn't that hot. I said it looked like it sat in the window for a long time, she said, that happens, even with the new biscuits & gravy it wasn't hot. Did not offer another drink, we were standing waiting for our bill. Not going there next weekend!

This is a great breakfast place. Great coffee, large portions.Esmeralda the waitress is fantastic! We ate here 3 days in a row!

We had not visited GVR in a few years even though it is one of the closest casinos to our home. So on 2/12 we decided to visit GVR and the Lucky Penny for dinner. We were very disappointed -- the food was twice the price as a comparable restaurant and environment and was very unimpressed with the taste. My prime rib was bland and came without au jus, had to pay $5.95 for a "side salad", my baked was overcooked, and my wife's Fish N Chips was not worth eating. However, the only saving grace was the service was decent and caring but that alone did not make up for a $100 meal for 3 people when one had an appetizer! We will not be back.

This place was DELICIOUS. We had the calamari fries which were amazing, with a super tasty basil aioli. I had the Salisbury steak which I felt I could have eaten two they were so good! My fiancé had the salmon which was very well seasoned as well. Definitely would recommend!

I am not really sure what is going on with the Stations now a days, but I think that the Fertitta Brothers need to pay some attention here. In the last few months my wife and I have visited the Sunset, Boulder and Santa Fe Stations and have not had what we would call great experiences in dining at their core café/restaurant - unremarkable tasting food, high prices, compared to what they were over a year ago before the name changes. The latest "event" was this last weekend at Green Valley. Okay, yes it was a Sunday but it was a Sunday afternoon, after the lunch rush. Over 35 minutes to be seated. No, there was no teeth grinding, just annoyance mostly because easily 1/3 of the tables/booths were empty. Server was attentive and took our order right away. Almost 40 minutes later it arrived. The server and a person who I believe was the assistant manager (?) came by and explained, not apologized, for the delay. The meal itself was okay - nothing outstanding for the price. My only word for this, and these, experiences is "disappointment". The only reason this is not a 1 star rating is that the server was good and attentive. Sorry Fertitta Brothers, if there is a choice between the café/restaurants and the food courts at any of the Stations, hit the food court. At least you will get what you expect there.

It was my birthday and decided to have something to eat. To my surprise the Lucky Penny had Prime Rib.. It was delicious and the staff was very good. TRY IT, YOU'LL LIKE IT...

Fast clean diner located inside GVR. It’s the only place that’s open 24hrs inside the resort. The service is quick. The food is good. There wasn’t a wait. The diner is large.

Had my birthday luncheon at Luck PennyFood was expensive and not worth the money. Drinks bought at the bar were larger and better than the ones served to us once we were seated. Waited 20minutes to be seated at 11am on a Monday!! (party of 7)
