The Extensive menu, good reviews and bonus comped items got my attention to try Lucky China. We had eaten here when it was under another name. I placed my order by phone and picked it up. I was greeted by Crystal who had taken my phone order. I realized I had forgotten an item that was prepared pretty quickly. Crystal said my home near Horizon and Pacific was within their delivery zone for a $4 charge. That’s great! We ordered Combination FR, Chicken and Shrimp in White wine sauce, Mongolian Beef and Pepper Salt Chicken wings. Everything but the Beef dish was excellent and good portions. My wife felt the beef was not prepared right. It may be just that’s their recipe. Will be back!
I’ve been coming here for the past 2-3 years and always enjoyed our food. That is until yesterday. The food was subpar. You used to use chicken breast meat and were not stingy. You used to provide enough sauces to go with a meal. You used to include carrots and other tasty vegetables with the dishes. Not anymore I guess. The teriyaki chicken was all dark meat, which was tasteless and chewy-not good. I get you had to raise your prices, and am more than okay with that. What I’m NOT OKAY with is you charging for and providing less, and what little you serve up is awful!I figure on average we spent $80-100 per month including tip. So, how does this affect your bottom line at Lucky China? $1200 less a year and I’m not going to recommend you ever again.Such a shame. You were a great neighborhood restaurant. Not anymore.
With Chinese food it’s always a hit and miss. In this case it was a total miss.I ordered at 4pm and got my food at 545pm. The food was warm so I guess it was a busy night.I ordered curry chicken and Mongolian beef but got only onions and green peppers hardly any beef or chicken.I would definitely NOT order from here again. The wait was not worth it at all.
Had an amazing impromptu Valentine’s Day dinner here with a large group of friends (8 of us). They were very accommodating, gave us free appetizers, and they were friendly and sweet staff! The food was great, came out fast, was hot and delicious! Highly recommend!
Me and the family have been eating here for a few years now and they have exceptional Chinese food! They always give us big portions and the food has always been fresh. We recently moved to the southwest part of Vegas and we still drive to this restaurant just to get Chinese food! Highly recommend!
Potstickers-OK. Mongolian Beef-OK. Sesame Chicken-Overcooked, dry, terrible. Teriyaki Chicken-Not edible. Pieces were so dry and flavorless I thought it was chips of wood served with a container of sauce on the side. Literally, not edible. This place is a complete waste of money with the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Oh, forgot to mention, also ordered Hot Garlic Pork, cannot really say how it was because I never found any meat it! Stay Away! If you get a menu in the mail, like I did, toss it!
They promise your food at a certain time and are always late. There was a foreign object in my food that I could of choked on. Even though their food is good, their lack of customer service and the object in my food will keep me from going back.
Lucky China in Henderson is our to-go Chinese place. There are lots of decent Chinese restaurant options in Henderson, but our favorite is Lucky China. The service is nothing to brag about, but the food makes up for it. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS. I have yet to have a bad experience.
Check your order carefully. Made the half hour drive home to find they didn’t give us any sauce for our sweet n sour chicken, didn’t give us our 2 orders of egg rolls, and decided Mongolian beef was a fine enough substitute for beef and broccoli.Food itself and pricing are good, but disappointed half our order was wrong.UPDATE: they offered a $10 credit to make up for the issue, which is appreciated. I will keep an open mind about visiting them again.
Our family of 7 went to have dinner tonight. The food was great, authentic and delicious. The salt and pepper wings and chicken with string beans were my favorites. Prices were really good, too! We will definitely return for more.
