We both ordered the steak fajitas for lunch. The service was a little slow but it was busy. The staff was friendly and the food was good but my wife's dish had twice as much steak as mine and we both had the same dish. Their prices were fair. Maybe kitchen should be more consistent.
This was recommended by many locals. Menu had many selections using chicken, pork or beef. Chips and salsa were served as appetizers. The tamales were good - filled with pork and thin masa layer. So many restaurants have tamales with a thick outer masa covering. Server was very pleasant and welcoming.
3⭐I'm probably not one to ask about "food" as I find most restaurants mediocre compared to what I can whip up at home.I go out to spend time with family and friends...food is secondary.4⭐What I will comment on is the service, which was very good...except for having my 2nd margarita rimmed with salt instead of sugar and her answer to remedy it was to bring a second (sugar-rimmed) empty glass to the table and pour the first into the second, spilling some onto the table...I found that very strange.?2⭐The atmosphere, on the other hand was LOUD...the live music def needed the volume reduced...as I said...I enjoy conversation with my meal...it was NOT pleasant to have to raise our voices to be heard over the music.
Love it here!!! The chips come with red salsa, green salsa and bean dip. Soooo good!! Wednesday's are half priced margaritas! The food is great, but staff is another main reason it's so awesome!
What can I say? This place is awesome, great food friendly staff who are on top of things drinks never go unfilled.We have now been here twice and I really think this is the go to spot for fajitas. They come hot and obviously flaming.Ordered chicken and steak added mushrooms it’s definitely enough to share. Although more tortillas would be good.Kids portions are really nice as well both boys were very happy.Fried ice cream was pretty good maybe a little to much accruement Carmel, whipped cream, chocolate and cherries.All in all if you want a fun place to eat great food is a happening venue Juan’s is your place.
By far the best Mexican Restaurant in Las Vegas period. The service is always outstanding, the food is always delicious, no matter what we order. we always order the fried ice cream, it's always great after our meal. I'll take pics next time. Just got one of the dessert because my daughter took it. She loves it, well we all do. Keep up the good work .
The sloooowest service ever. We we there on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant was not crowded. Very friendly staff greeted us. Chips and salsa came out right after we were seated. Then we didn’t see our waiter for quite some time. He finally came and took our drink order. He brought our waters and left. He came back to take our food order and we still didn’t have our bar drinks. We asked about the drinks. His reaction made me think he forgot. We waited some more and they finally came. None of the margaritas had salt which I thought was odd. One was specifically ordered with salt but we decided not to send back for fear of never getting the drink back. By that time 30 minutes had passed. AFTER ANOTHER 30 minutes ( trust me, I was watching the time) our food finally arrived. We didn’t even have the opportunity to ask our server where our food was because he was nowhere. The food was very basic. I had veggie fajitas which had no flavor at all. No seasoning or anything. I got a side of veggies and they were so undercooked they were still crunchy. They weren’t even close to being steamed. I would’ve asked for more salsa to dump on my food but the waiter never came to check on us. My husband said his food was very mediocre. One person had tacos and they said they were very good. The other person had enchiladas and she said they were fine but not like they were the last time she was there. Overall we spent an hour and a half here, mostly WAITING for drinks and food. The local who took us here said the food and drinks were not up to their regular standards that day. Maybe it was just an off day for them, which I hope was the case. If there was a short staffed kitchen or something it would’ve been nice to have been given a heads up, but our waiter really wasn’t around to offer any other information. I can’t imagine that his station was super busy because there were a ton of staff people just standing around at the front counter-him included at some points. Even paying the bill took a long time. We all concluded that Tuesday afternoon had the “B” team running the place and that the food and service is better on the weekend at night. But this kind of service does not warrant a return for me.
I really want to give a HUGE positive shout out to this restaurant. My son and I chose this location because we were on our way back to Vegas from Hoover Dam and wanted to stop some place for lunch that would help us avoid Vegas crowds and prices. We chose Juan's because of the positive TA reviews. I will say that this was the best Mexican food we had on our trip. This includes Vegas, El Paso, and many stops in New Mexico, include Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The tacos were fresh and fabulous. The chips and salsa were flavorful and some of the best I've ever had. The service was beyond amazing. Our waitress was so kind and attentive. We always had water refilled, were checked on frequently, even by a manager, and the food came out hot and quick. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when in the area again! Thank you for a great lunch!
Wow!!! This is a must stop and try restaurant when in the area. The food is simply delicious… everything is homemade with the most delicious flour tortillas and guacamole I have ever had. The service was awesome with visible management monitoring service and quality. A definite yes !!!!
This restaurant is very consistent in food prep and good service. It is very busy and reservations are very highly suggested. It is the best Mexican restaurant in Henderson without a doubt and is always very busy, no matter what time. . All food we have ordered has been delicious with very large portions and very fresh
