The sushi was great and came out super fast, staff was very polite and the resteraunt itself was well kept and clean. Prices were all reasonable and portions were good.
This has become our favorite sushi and dinner place. We used to go to All You Can Eat Sushi and thought that was a great value, however, after discovering Hiroba - it is now our go-to place. The fish is always fresh and the basic rolls are a great deal. The special rolls are unique and delicious! My sister and nephews also love their black rice. Most importantly, the workers and owners are super friendly and you can tell they take pride in their restaurant.
What a fun sushi experience. I sat at the sushi bar and man were these 4 sushi chefs whipping out the sushi. This place was fast, fresh, and very friendly.The sushi was very non traditional, but in a really fun and refreshing way. The spicy edamame was fantastic! The valley of fire role was good but the anthem roll was fantastic and would be my recommendation out of the 2.This was a really delicious place and I'll be back.
Favorite hole-in-wall spot in America. My boyfriend will not give other Japanese places a chance now because he says we already found the best and it would be a waste of time to even try other places ?? The prices are so low that we ALWAYS order too much and have 2 to 3 rounds of meal time just because we can. The taste of every type of dish in their menu is AMAZING and FRESHER THAN FRESH (if there ever was such a thing). The service is impeccable - Park is the most attentive host, but everyone else is also always on their feet and ready to serve before you even ask them. The glasses are always filled with water (sometimes, we don't even notice when they come by!) and we are always asked if we need anything more. The food comes to your table in literally less than 5 minutes and it is beautifully presented. I sometimes wonder how service is quick when the place is always full! We come here almost every week since we first set foot in this place. I suggested to try this place with my boyfriend and he wasn't that excited, but now, he reminds me every week that we need to go again. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
My mother and I frequent here, and I always order the box lunch special. It's a good value! (13.99) I've ordered several different ones, but the katsu chicken calls my name a lot. The food has always been fresh and tasty. The seaweed salad is just salty enough, not too much; with just enough sesame, not too much. Imo, the kitchen does a great job of flavor input and flavor restraint. The glutton in me wants more rice, or more salad, but the portions are proper. I feel full, but still energetic and cheerful. My mother has ordered several different sushi rolls, and as she is not a praising person, when she says, "Oh, this is good. Yes. This is good.", I pay attention. It's nearly spectacular, and a good value as well. The black rice sushi is altogether beautiful, healthy, and delicious. Also, most importantly maybe, their hot tea ... it has that toasted rice aroma and even flavor. That scent and taste make me calm and happy. I MUST find out their distributor! And the flavor is not overwhelming; it is, in fact, a middle note taste. That tea is everything right now. It's just their hot tea, but to me, it is Steaming Toasted Rice Nirvana Nectar.The service has been very good - excellent I believe. The waiting staff is respectful of the diners. They are very polite lovely ladies and gentlemen. I really like this local and friendly atmosphere restaurant.
Horrible experience today. Tried to make reservation prior to visit but they don’t take it. I was reassured by the owner that is plenty of seating available. At 7 pm it was really busy but we’re able to get a sitting at the bar… for a minute. As soon as we sit down we were ordered by cook to move because we’re on his way to serve food. We got up and we’re trying to leave but the owner told us don’t listen to the “red neck”/cook lol and told us to go back and sit down. Place was way too hyper for us and we left. Too bad, my previous experience was really good food wise.
One of the recommended places for sushi near my hotel so, had to try it. The menu is almost overwhelming as there is such a variety of dishes. There is an entire section of rolls w/ black rice - way cool. The rolls, noodles, tempura, and apps we tried were really good - as good as anything in Chgo or Denver. They even have fairly unique items like grilled salmon cheeks - REALLY yummy! A little short staffed when we visited but they were accommodating and friendly. Not a destination spot but if you're within 5-10 miles, well worth it.
My dads and I came across this lovely place on Christmas night. Didn’t think anything would be open but this restaurant exceeded our expectations. The workers are mind, the food is delicious and the setting is relaxing. Would definitely come here again. 10/10 recommend!!
