Came here for the first time and she tells us we have 90 minutes to eat and we will be charged for anything not eaten. We ordered 4 waters that we never got. She hardly ever came by to ask what we wanted so our time was ticking….. very poor customer service. Will never come here again. Master Kim’s every time….. NO COMPARISON! It was HORRIBLE. No sure what all the hype is….
I've been coming here for years by myself.. I've had bad service, I've had good service and I've had amazing service. this WAS my favorite Korean BBQ to go to. I went in today and I was told they would not seat me since I was a party of one. which has never been an issue before. I've been here multiple times alone and have seen multiple people eating there alone. I find it to be extremely rude of a restaurant to refuse service to someone simply because they have no one to join them for dinner
Good dinner today must co.e an appetite. You order what you are going to eat only not allowed to the home left overs. You pay for each dish
The menu is very limited. There's like 4 or 5 appetizers. Not a great place to take your kids, trust me. You'll think twice about going when your 7 year old gets charged as a full price adult and only ate half a bowl of white rice. They don't do a la carte at all. Often times, the meats you order will come out before the appetizers/sides and, one time, before our drinks. Service was prompt. The wait times were okay; just be sure to call or check in online ahead of time.
Great service at the bar. Meat quality was good for being all you can eat.
Not happy with the service we received at all. When we called we were told “no wait time” came in and there was 15min wait, would have been fine yet she sat 3 groups of people that just walked in.. same headcount.Then took us to the back near an exit door. The server forgot multiple items even tho we reminded him 3x..and never gave us the seasonings. I asked whoever dropped off the drinks what meat goes first “idk, sorry” was the answer. Server seemed annoyed we ordered..mind you we paid “31 items per person” and only ordered about 8-10 things for 4 people. Very lucky we are not rude and we still left a tip.
Not good service, too much pressure about what you can eat, in the time limit they give you to cook and eat everything, 90 min, but at the same time are extremely slow and unresponsive. I prefer to cook for my family on my house without a time limit. Flame was to high and the meat burned on the outside and raw in the inside, if you don't know the basic of cooking this is not the place for you plus I repeat the pressure on doing everything under 90 min

My first experience at a Korean bbq and it was amazing. My friend who has been to others did say Gen has a better cut of meat and it tastes better than most others.
Surprisingly not busy when I went on a Monday night! We were immediately seated, and our first items were out within two minutes of walking through the door!Gen, is obviously a KBBQ chain, and their offerings seem to be fairly consistent amongst all locations.The food was as great as it always is, the interior was very consistent with its other locations, and the service/wait time is what I wish all Gens were like!
