I am a new to El Pollo Loco, I was very pleasantly suprised with the menu and the grilled chicken. For a "fast food" restaurant... I was impressed with the food, the staff, and the cleanliness of the location. My only complaint was that I felt 2 tortillas was not enough for the 3 peice meal I ordered. Maybe I will order extra tortillas next time.
I often go to a different Pollo Loco that I like. My experience here was not good. Their drive thru intercom didn't work well. They messed up the order. And when I got to work and began eating the chicken, it was completely unseasoned. It was like they forgot to season, or marinade or whatever they usually do. Yuck!
Wife was in drive through for 30 minutes waiting on dry chicken and cold Mac and cheese?!What happened El Pollo Loco? You use to be so good. This is the 2nd bad experience we have had.We will not return.
First time here just to try the birria... tacos were too small for the price to be justified so I got a birria burrito instead... got home and only this much in the cup even though there is a line inside that shows it had more(no leak in my bag or car) and a few bites in... WHERE IS THE MEAT?!Down to the halfway point and finally discovered some meat...I don't get it
From a 5 star to a 1 start. Food is still good but their service of the past several weeks has been anything but positive. Today was the worst!! I spent an hour in the drive through line waiting. When I asked why the hour wait in line, his response was we are short staffed. Thing there were 5 people working in there. All were slow, as if they had just started and had no clue what was going on. This same scenario happened a couple of weeks ago as well. Management needs train their staff to move and think.
This particular store is a joke. We made a stop there and was in line for 54 minutes. The drive-thru cashier had me wait 17 minutes just at the speaker. I understand that we all are under stress, but please don't take it out on your good customers. Behaviors like this unfortunately causes me not to go back for a long time
Not a quick bite in Henderson. Drive thru design traps you in as well :( Have been trapped in line for over 30 minutes tonight, still 3 cars from ordering
Start to finish was 45 minutes exactly in the drive thru. Probably understaffed and undertrained
Quick service thru the drive thru. food was fresh and hot.
Got the family meal it was tasty and fed all four of us. Chicken was hot and juicy and beans and rice were flavorful. 20$ for four to eat, I can't find a thing to complain about.
