Food was ice cold. The girl making the food around 320pm 7/10/2022 was rude as hell. The entire front line staff I encountered has low communication. The food was not good just average and the chips were stale. This place is a joke. I will never come back again. Expensive Garbage!
Cafe Rio has its own way to be considered "Mexican" food as far as taste authenticity. While I would say it does not fall in that category I praise the place for using fresh and quality ingredients, being very consistent from location to location and offering an unmatched loyalty program.
I'm okay either spending 15 bucks on a good burrito BUT if you ask for anything other than lettuce or tomatoes the cost ends up a 20.00 burrito. Not very topping friendly.
Unsanitary packaging for uber deliveries. Bags are never sealed, and I've personally seen while sitting inside the restaurant uber drivers are required to fill the beverages themselves, and to add napkins and utensils themselves. This is unsanitary, I don't know where their hands have been. The restaurant should be doing this. I won't be eating here again or ordering delivery.

Food was a little off from previous visits. Had grilled chicken tacos. Food was barely warm by the time I sat down. Rice was cold.
The experience with Cafe Rio on Stephanie Street has been very inconsistent each visit. I kept eating here many various times over the last month or so. I can save everyone the time and say DO NOT have high expectations on getting delivery from them as it will likely always be wrong, incorrectly portioned (much less then in store ordering) and, very disappointing while overpriced. When I do go in person for lunchtime usually the portions are better and the freshness is slightly better. Some visits or orders no matter what can have older lettuce or off tasting ingredients. I did give up on eating from here but hopefully later in the future we can see better management.
All right you guys let me just say this I love the food from Cafe Rio I love it but that's not the issue the issues started when pandemic and different processes were initiated to hand out or deliver or come pick up food here's the thing the pandemic was almost 2 years ago now and we're still having issues with pickup orders. I'd like to say that every time I place a pickup order it is never ever ready even though the app or online shows that it's ready at this point why don't you guys just shut down that system or tell people that there is an extreme wait time on the app that way they can decide if they just want to come in and pick up the food by waiting in line there has been I'd like to say maybe 9 out of 10 times that I come pick up my food it's not ready and while I'm waiting maybe more than 10 or 15 individuals get to purchase their food first by ordering it while walking in. So I'm at a little bit of a loss here what are we supposed to do now do you advise that I walk in if I have a pickup order and just play store order inside or what do I just sit here patiently waiting for this system to better itself or you guys add improvements.
I came here a yesterday to enjoy my food, the food was great, but at the moment I went to the restroom, I heard two girls laughing and kissing in the same restroom, one was a former worker, it’s disgusting how the managements don’t do anything, it so disrespectful, and gross that they don’t have any about it, first and last time I came here, so nasty. I hope they do something about they workers
