the food, service, cleanliness, parking and general atmosphere was not someplace i would go again
I’m going to recommend them, but with several caveats: The biscuits are simply amazing. That’s it. Wife orders pulled pork, ribs, corn, and baked potato with sour cream on the side. The ribs and corn were phenomenal. The baked potato comes out slathered in sour cream (which is now on her proteins) and the “pulled pork” looked like the scraps that are left over from the cutting board. That were then deep fried. Could’ve oiled my truck axle with how greasy they were. I ordered brisket, hot links, burnt ends baked beans, and Mac and cheese. The baked beans didn’t initially make it to the table because they gave me corn instead. When I asked our waiter (Daniel - who was awesome) about it, he brought an order out - sans burnt ends. I somehow got pickles and pickled onions, which was a nice touch, except I had to listen to my wife wish she got some as well. When the manager asked how everything was, we outlined the litany of issues and got a coupon for Buy one entree, get 50% off the other. Here’s the rub…the food is good, but whomever was on expo that night needs to see an optometrist. Maybe I’ll use the coupon, but doubt it. Just not worth the drive for me.
Amazing food! The drinks were also great and everything was quite reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I reccomend this place for any meal and we will be back!
Awesome food adequate super friendly service. I’d go back again and again
I had the brisket by the pound and seasoned fries. The brisket was very tender and the fries were well seasoned. I also ordered their biscuits, the smallest order is 3 biscuits so I ordered that. They have a selection of jellies you can choose from, but it an additional charge. I tried the apple bacon one, but I actually liked their whipped butter better. I also asked for bread for my brisket. They will provide toast but they don't toast it with butter, so that was not my favorite. My friend ordered a BLT with seasoned fries and she liked hers. If you are not familiar with the water district area it can be confusing on how to get in. They do have a sign located towards the top of the building. I think I passed it a least twice. You have to park in the back of the restaurant or on the street, the parking is free. I parked in the back of the restaurant, so then I walked around to the front. Also, they serve breakfast, but I believe the times on Google may be in correct. My GPS was telling me that they didn't open until 11. So heads up on that. The staff was friendly and the establishment was cleaned. The establishment is just the right size and they have a bar inside as well.
Went for breakfast and got the brisket hash meal. It was fantastic! Has to be some of the best brisket I've ever had. The place is small but really nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn't have lunch or dinner but will be back for those!

Good food a friendly staff nice little barbecue joint
The biscuits are amazing and the toppings for them are worth it, but the highlight was the BBQ. It is not your average BBQ. Every bite had great flavor and the quantity was just right. Our server was great, she really helped us out with their menu and how to maximize our experience their. If you haven't been, here is your sign to go.
