The meat was a little dry. Not that much to choose from nor much sauces either. Huge portion though. Their dessert pecan pie is to die for.Server was nice. The place was empty for a Sunday.I love their DIY SODA machine like you see in gas station. ?
Lean brisket pulled pork with tender potato salad and fresh coleslaw as o much food!!! Lunch for 3 days!!! The girls are very nice and the food is delicious
Great food great bbq. Visiting family in Vegas and it was the perfect spot to catch up. Went back for coleslaw and brought it back to Detroit for a Memorial Day pic nic.
Always looking for good BBQ. They have a nice sized spot that has a bunch of Texas sports team flags and events on the wall and country music playing on the speakers. The girl tried to explain but at the end really didn’t understand what we wanted to order. We tried the pulled pork, brisket, tri tip and baby back ribs. The baked beans were way too I don’t know maybe chipotle tasting. The Mac and cheese was very dry. Enjoyed the brisket and the plain BBQ sauce the best out of the bunch. Two of us ordered a few of there combo plates and came to over 44 dollars. Definitely not cheap if your hungry.
I was really looking forward to a good pullback pork sandwich and as I entered the place I was very excited thinking that I scored. It smelled great, the menu perfect, just enough choices to not send me in a loop, and service was good. My order came out within minutes. This place can be great if only they would serve the pork smothered in BBQ sauce. Instead I got home and to my surprise my sandwich was dry with no sauce at all. Yes they gave me plenty of sauce on the side but guys...it's NOT THE SAME THING! Why would you do that? Stop with the shortcuts. Shortcuts lead to mediocre. You have a good product but by serving the way you do its was just that...mediocre. Too bad.
Texas style smoked BBQ including beef and pork ribs. I prefer the pulled pork and the brisket. The beef ribs can be a bit dry with this level of BBQ "bark" but I know some people love that. The sides are hit and miss depending on your preferences. The Mac and cheese is great. The corn bread is not. As others have said, the beans are good but very tangy. The Cole slaw is a good balance to the spicy sauce which you will have to request. The other sweet and mustard sauces are at the tables. The dining area is large with many long picnic tables and multiple TVs which are usually showing sports. It is very family and kid friendly and does not have a dedicated bar area. They do however have bottled beer and even a few on tap.
Amazing! The food was the best and so tender! I have nothing bad to say at all! Update: the food is still delicious! We had the brisket last time. This time we had chicken and ribs too with potatoe salad and the bbq beans. Yummmmmmy!
Being from Texas I wanted to try this place. Good portion of meat for the price. The beans and sauce have a vinegar base taste. If you are into that you will love it.
Best BBQ place in the area!! Great food that's smoked to perfection. Come in to eat bomb food, listen to country jams, and just have a good time! The people that work here are amazing everytime we come in with our family of 4 they always go out of their way to help us with extra plates, sauce, utensils, etc. It's so nice having a place we can take our 2 little kids to eat and know we will all enjoy ourselves. I recommend the pulled pork with okra and Mac and hubby recommends the brisket and beef ribs with green beans and cream corn!
Honest to God Texas style BBQ. All the staples are solid. Brisket, pork, sausages, ribs are all great. But the thing I and my daughter come back for time and time again is the smoked turkey! Honestly the best I think I've ever had! Sides are all pretty good and pretty much what you'd expect from a solid Texas style bbq joint. The one that really stands out though is the bbq beans. Big chunks of meat and slightly spicy, that side eats like meal! I highly recommend trying it. Service is always friendly and fast. Great beers on tap if you like to keep it old school.My family and I go here at least twice a month. We love this place!
